Good Protection for Your Investment but the Keyboard May Drive You Nuts.
I like the price and the case is functional to protect my iPad Air; however the keyboard will drive you nuts until you get used to the small [Backspace] key which is located just below the [Lock] key. Cannot count the times I attempted to correect a typo and locked my screen and for that reason alone I'm shopping a replacement for this 2 week old keyboard/case. But it's not alwasy true that one gets what they pay for .. my grossly overpriced Keyboard/Case from Brookstone I used on my iPad3 had a great flip case and a nice keyboard layout; however, the On/Off switch is cheap and tends to break. Shopping a good model but until then this inexpensive model works well to protect my investment.[time lapse]After a few weeks with this Keyboard and Case I wanted to update my review ... Time and exposure has allowed me to acclimate to the keyboard layout. No issues with the keyboard and thus far I'd say it's been a very good value for the cheap cost. I debated buying the Brookstone model because I like the classic flip case but for an additional $130 .. I'm thinking I'm just fine with this one. In fact, even should the keyboard fail for that price difference I can buy a few replacements and still save money. I recommend the case.

Great product for the price!!!
For the price this is an incredible deal. I will be honest, I have yet to hold it in my hands because the Ipad Air was a gift which I am expecting to be brought to me tomorrow. But I ordered this case after long deliberation between this one and much more expensive (name brand models) but after seeing the good reviews for the other products from this company, I decided to give it a shot.My mother told me that the case was a perfect fit for the new iPad Air (if this is not correct, I will update the review tomorrow). Its obviously faux leather, but appears to be very well made. The keyboard, I was told is very comfortable to use. In fact, my mother has a very expensive version of the case / keyboard for her iPad 3 which was bought as a gift from Sharper Image and she told me that she likes mine much better. So for a $125 cheaper, than some of the other models, I would consider this a great option for anyone who is looking for a good case / keyboard but doesnt want to spend 1/4 of the price of the iPad itself.I obviously cant attest to the longevity of this product as i have yet to even hold it in my hand, but if anything comes up I will be sure to update the review. For now please keep in mind, this review is based on a first hand account from my mother and twin brother and is their opinions. I did see it via facetime and a side by side comparison with the sharper image version, i can honestly say that there is very little to no difference (except the faux leather vs real leather). But the keyboard on this version definitely wins out as it has actual spaces in between the keys which makes it much easier to type with. All in all, I would highly recommend this, as I know that I was hesitant based on the lack of reviews. So I wanted to leave some feedback so someone else can make a better informed decision and not waste money on an expensive brand name for no reason.

Try again
Mixed feelings on this case. The main reason I got it was for the keyboard which I love except for the backspace button is so small I keep hitting the sleep button by mistake other than that it's wonderful. It keeps up with me with no problems unlike other Bluetooth keyboards. For the case itself it doesn't fit my iPad Air 1 to well. Also the stand is not sturdy enough the Ipad is too heavy for it. I have to remove the keyboard and stand the case up against something sturdy. I've only had it a few weeks and already it's starting to peel. So I'll just use my old case until I find something better.

A solid case with functional bluetooth keyboard for iPad Air
The case was delivered through Amazon Prime quickly. It is a snug fit for iPad Air. There are holes tailored properly for 2 mics and back camera.Semicircle cut around edges to expose home button and front camera.Different from what's shown in product images. In landscape mode, both upper and lower edges alsohave square cut to leave room for accessing (the swipe-in action) control & notification centers. This is a very welcome design detail. The stereo-speakers, the lightening port, the volume and rotation(mute) buttons are all left unblocked with plenty room to access. The black PU surface feels like well-shined full-grain premium leatherThe grey stitches are even and appear to be well sewed. When folded, the keyboard buttons won't touch the screen at all.The bluetooth keyboard (which is attached squarely and securely by magnetic mechanism) came pre-charged.By following the instruction card, it paired with iPad within seconds. With back stand kicks out, this unique case/keyboard combo quickly turns an iPad Air into a Window Surface-like device.Typing is responsive. It is not the best keyboard in the world (macbook pro, thinkpad etc.). But on it, I can type much fasterwith much higher accuracy than on the virtual keyboard. The keyboard layout resembles Macbook Pro with enough function keysto control Home/Power/Volume/Brightness/Spotlight/Playback/Virtual-Keyboard without touching the iPad itself. The keyboard will sleep itself after a few minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life.A quick full charge will last for 2.5 days of frequent usage.Just one small issue, the backspace button is too small, only half size. It is very easy to miss if I don't look.Even with this caveat, I would still give it 5-star rating considering the very reasonable pricing, the overall good quality, considerable amount of details, and the fact it is on the market just days after iPad Air first shipment.

Detachable Wireless Keyboard
This is another one of those products I should have been more careful before ordering. I wanted a wireless keyboard for mine and my daughter's ipad mini, I actually typed in mini ipad wireless keyboard in the search field and this came up, well it's not for the ipad mini, it's way too big and the ipad falls through the side where you secure it. The keyboard works it's just not a good fit.
