Don't use any other repeaters than this one!
I'm a contractor that installs many of these things and after using almost every different brand, THIS one is the ONLY one that works perfectly under any and all situations. I've used cheaper ones that sometimes can't recognize different remote signals. Just spend the extra money and get the right one because there's nothing more annoying than a remote that doesn't work - or sporadically works! (you know what I'm talking about)

Reliable
There is a reason why this kit costs more than some competitors. If you need an IR kit to work 100% from day 1, then this is the kit for you. IR receiver frequency is adjustable as well.

Did I receive a used product?
The packaging arrived tattered, showing signs that perhaps it hap been opened and handled prior to shipping to me. The mounting for the IR receiver is a nothing more than a strip of double stick tape. A bit underwhelming. It works great! Thank you. I have also used Xantech in the past and been pleased. At 4x the cost of the competition, I am concerned about the value I purchased. It works great, but the packaging was lackluster and the mounting options are sad.

Bad Vendor
First, I want to say Xantech makes a great product and this review is in no way against Xantech and their product. I have installed Xantech on many occasions with great results. This review is for the vendor, CRUTCHFIELD!! I ordered this for an installation in a Church for control of their projectors. CRUTCHFIELD cancelled my order because my son had not returned a defective product to them in 2010. My address and last name was on that order but I had nothing to do with the order and did not even know my son had placed any order or not returned any defective item in 2010 until today. I do not conduct business that way and let me assure CRUTCHFIELD if I owed you or anyone else a defective product it would most certainly of been returned. As I said, this has nothing to do with the product. Xantech makes a great product and I have since ordered from another source.
