Great Game For Everyone
We got two sets yesterday and haven't put them down. They are simple enough that anyone can pick one up and start playing in seconds, yet have enough options and customizations to appease the older kids. Fun with only two people but it definately gets better the more people there are playing. Indoor/Outdoor switch is excellent. Visor fits comfortably and is easy to put on/take off. We've played outside and they've taken quite a beating but show no signs. More expensive than other laser tags out there but the countless features these have make it the best value in my opinion.

The 21st Century of Lazer Tag
Whoops forgot to log in :( Hi, I have loved lazer tag guns and Lazer Tag Team Ops (will calll ltto later) is the best ive seen. It's like how much Mike Jordan vs a 2 year old in basketball win. Now, nerf fans out there ( im still a VERY big 1 :)) but this thing compared to it: DROP NERF!!!!! This gun may seem very complicated, but for those people that dont wanna read the manual, here are the steps: 1: turn on the device. 2: select LTAG on the menu. 3: learn to shoot and reload and ur good to go! I SERIESLY RECOMEND READING THE MANUAL!!!! This thing, like I said, may be complicated, but give a good 10-20 min to the manual, and u will be ready in no time! Ok your probably saying, I cant hit crap! Well, i found the solution: BUY THE SCOPE AND THUNDER PACK SET! the scope dosn't zoom in, but really helps. U will be really lucky without the scope to hit a target 75ft+ STANDING STILL WITHOUT THE SCOPE!!! With the scope, easly hit 200ft moving. Now, thats worth it for 10$ extra! Now, since that I only have 1 scope and play 1-on-1s, the person with the scope wins, but I still dish out 4-5 without it( most people dont do as good as me, rarely hit me without it :)) Note: the scope is usless if ur playing indoors in a small room. Ok, ill write a review for da scope l8tr. Now this gun(by estimating) goes a WILD 350ft+!! Most guns have a limited range of 150-200ft. those old areanes for lazertag will soon be deserted- theres a new gun in town-LTTO!!!!! P.S: Havn't tried the LX-31 (whatever the pistol is called), so dont know if its better. Also, don't buy the camo gun- just paint ur own gun.

Great fun, good exercise
We had our first proper game with these today out in the woods. Everyone had a brilliant time from age 5 (with some help) to age 45. Own the zone was the most popular game. You can play around the house but the beam will bounce off walls making it far too easy to score a tag (even with the 'Indoor' setting). Outside, you actually need to use the sights to score consistent hits. Great fun and good exercise out in the fresh air. The only downside to today's game was that one tagger refused to debrief, messing up the team scores a little. This is the only reason I didn't give 5/5.

incomplete set
I ordered this set which was more expensive than a couple others because this one was listed collectible very good. I feel like i got scammed. The guns and goggles came fine but there were no cables. If i had known i would have purchased from a different seller. i can't find the cables for sale anywhere! this close to Christmas sending it back for a refund and purchasing a complete set will be practically impossible since i don't have the hundred plus dollars i need to buy a full set. If you are buying this set... be sure that it is what you are expecting and if it doesn't list cables included... don't buy unless you don't mind. the guns themselves are good. goggles are useless since i can't link up. I could have bought the guns on ebay for like 25 bucks a piece and saved crazy money.

This toy is amazing
We bought a set for my nephew's ninth birthday to give to him when he visited us. We could hardly pry them from his hands. He bugged us to play with him a lot, even though my wife and I are both in our fifties and are probably a bit of a drag to chase around. He really had fun when some of the neighborhood kids played with him and they vowed to get sets themselves. For myself, I'm very impressed with the durability of the guns and the amount of information that the electronics can process. The only negatives I can think of, and this is a stretch, are (1) I agree with everyone who says the goggles are uncomfortable and (2) the shield trigger is in a place where I find myself inadvertently squeezing it when I don't want to (something I can easily train myself not to do). On the other hand, I love the "clank" sound the gun makes when my shields are hit. This is a great toy. It does what it says it will do!

Missing one little feature
I bought 2 pairs (4 taggers) from Amazon.com to have fun with my boys. Everything works as described: you can track hits, raise shields, reload, etc. Unfortunately, one might also expect that it should matter where you aim the gun; this is core functionality that somehow didn't make it into the design spec. Whether you aim at the ceiling, floor, wall, or whatever, when you pull the trigger every other unit will be "hit". Note that this does not require the target to be in the line of sight; just hit a ceiling or a nearby wall and the target will still be hit. It really takes the fun out of the game when there is no point in hiding or aiming. The winner is always the person who can pull the trigger fastest and all "games" are over in seconds. I would have thought my unit was defective, but all 4 units behave exactly the same. Why would anyone bother to program all these possible games and forget to make it necessary to aim the gun? You can even fire the opposite direction and still hit all the units behind you. As they say, you can't miss! These units will probably last a long time without breaking, as they are on a shelf gathering dust.
