Excellent water filtration kit. Simple to assemble, the whole installation process was straightforward. This is a good value for the money because you can change the filter cartridges and extend the filtration by adding more canisters. There could be a slight reduction in water pressure, but you can solve that by keeping your filters clean.The build quality is excellent with the acrylic based housing having great clarity. The feel sturdy and I believe they will be very durable for a long time usage.The change interval of each filter will vary depending on how dirty your water is. I am actually using these to filter my salamander's aquarium because they are low-maintenance and produce very little waste.

I use this as a stand-alone water filtration system. I don't have some of the problems listed by other users, I find this system to be sturdy and reliable for the cost. To seal, line up the filter inside the tube and raise it flush to the unit and screw on the retaining ring while holding it until it is hand tight. Then use the wrench to tighten the rest of the way. I use a bit of glycerin on the gasket on the clear tube and one revolution of pipe thread tape. No leaks and combined with the osmotic filter, I can process up to 150 gallons a day if I need to. I use it for my hydroponics and aquatic pets, no more buying distilled water or treating tap water to dechlorinate it. Water out of the system is at 4ppm.

I have used 4 of these sets over the last few years. They leak, they wear out and get brittle over time, and they will burst if you have hard pressure/any drastic pressure changes.The last 2 sets I bought (for my 4-stage whole house filter set up) must have been defective and would not stop leaking no matter what I did. This is a consistent problem with the product, you need to use exactly the right amount of thread tape and silicone lube or it will leak incessantly. If you get the amounts right, the fittings will still leak a bit for a day or two.The main frustration with this sump style filter housing is taking it apart to change filters. It's not easy and you will spill water everywhere.It is also very easy for the filter to slip slightly out of seat when tightening which causes the water to bypass the filter, defeating the purpose of the filter.Long story short, these are just OK. the problems I have experienced with this setup has been consistent across many sets, and does not seem to be getting better/easier to deal with.

No directions but easy Installation. But no idea what size anything is. Build seems good , but it leaks. I will be returning for another will give it a second try. I really like the look the clear housing.

Great water filter system. I also.had a small drip from around both of the threads instead of tape I used the brush on plumbing thread seal, leaks stopped. The brush on thread seal I bought on Amazon doesn't get hard preventing you from unscrewing either side off. I have replaced filter's once since installing did not have to brush on anymore still no leaks.

Great value for the money! I live in Phoenix AZ and the public water here is hard and has a lot of chlorine and heavy metals which builds up on appliances and fixtures. This filter is a great 2 stage option with transparent cylinders and air blenders. The filters that come with it work great too and made an immediate difference!

Price could be little lower. Other then that good experience.
