DophiGo 960P Wi-Fi Enabled Smart Video Camera Wireless Doorbell Button Chime (1 Base)

*READ BEFORE YOU BUY*I will start with the 1 star positive: The unit is smaller then other video Doorbells I have tried.NEGATIVES: The app will not allow you to put a SPACE in the WiFi password. I know most people do not use spaces in passwords but I do because it makes it that much more difficult. So I emailed the vendor they give you on the card on the inside of the box. I received 2 emails back saying that domain cannot be located, hmmm interesting. So I changed my password to setup this unit.Once connected I pressed the doorbell button only to be surprised by a voice saying "please wait, please wait, please wait" and finally "please leave a message after the beep". So that was interesting. So if you don't answer the doorbell from your phone the doorbell will play that message. that can work for some people but I want a doorbell not an answering machine. When I get a delivery they ring the bell and leave. They don't stick around and wait to leave me a message, on my doorbell. So I thought maybe in the app you can mute it. Surprise Surprise no way to MUTE. You can lower the outside volume but no Mute. Coincidentally you can MUTE the inside volume.. ummmmm that seems backwards. This says 960P HD camera... well I have 720P cameras that I use from an app that look better. There is no PIR for motion activation which is fine, HOWEVER at no time can you look at the camera unless someone rings the bell or answering machine depending on your need. Sometimes you just want to check the front door to see if there is something there, not with this camera. So after all that I can clearly justify my 1 star review.

I thought i'd give this a shot as it's real easy to install being all self contained. I didn't like the app, I don't know what it's doing but it wants access to everything and takes a real long time to install , i was suspicious it was farming data out of my phone but I don't know for sure that's what it was doing but it sure took an excessive amount of time to install.As for operation, the camera only operates when someone presses the doorbell button. Then it will do a one way video call to your phone to its app so you can see who's there and talk with them. Or you can deny the call and not answer if you like.I however was looking for a doorbell with a camera that could integrate with alexa and show me outside in realtime besides also being a doorbell. If that's what you want, this isn't the doorbell for you.

The doorbell was easy enough to set up. The video is great. I like that there is free cloud storage for 24 hours. I am disappointed that it is not motion-activated. I was pretty sure that I had read that it was, but guess not. That's a bummer. The biggest problem that I've had is that when someone does ring the bell, that I cannot hear them speak. They can hear me, but I can't hear them, which was the point of having this doorbell. I have sent emails requesting how to fix the problem, with no answers. I'm very disappointed in the customer service. If I could actually use this device to speak with the person at the door, I'd be very happy.Would have given 2.5 stars if I could have. I'll change my rating if anyone in customer service actually responds and helps me with the issue.

The media could not be loaded.  The doorbell is an amazing product. It's amazing because it works, it's simple and so easy to install. Imagine being able to see and converse, with anyone on your porch, from anywhere in the world! The package came in with everything I need to install it. The regular door chime will ring as it always does, but here is what is not traditional: when the bell is triggered, my phone rings a special alert and a video appears the screen showing a crisp, HD live feed of who is in front of the doorbell's built-in camera. I can then answer through the intercom and carry on a conversation with the visitor. What is important is that I can be anywhere on the planet as long as I can get cellphone signal! Recently, while we whole family on thanksgiving vacation, we hired a service to check on our dog and care for him. I have a record of the person coming and going and how long he was there.You'll NEVER not be home once you install the doorbell... You'll always know who is at your door and they won't know if you are at home or on vacations. This doorbell truly makes my family feel more safe and secure.

Bottom line up front, the doorbell camera works fairly well and for the price it is a pretty good value. Overall, this is a fairly good product. Video during the day is fairly great and during the night is good enough. Instructions were not very good to help with setup but after a few minutes we were able to figure it out with no problems. Some drawbacks are that it doesn't alert you to people at the door unless they press the doorbell, nor does it record video unless somebody presses the doorbell. There is no option to view doorbell without the person knowing that your there, nor do you have the ability to view the video feed to see whats going on outside, unless someone has pressed the doorbell. That is my bigfest issue with recomending this product, but for the price it gets the job done.

This thing is pretty awesome. The app that comes with it allows you to see who's visited (rang the bell) and has a live camera mode so you can see who's parked outside your home at all times. When the door bells rings, my phone gets a notification and I can talk live to the person at the door.Camera quality is very good, I was able to see rain in front of my house. Installation of the camera on the door was a breeze - it has 2 options (mounting plate attachment to door by screw or by a heavy duty adhesive pad). I used the adhesive pad and was done in 2 seconds - and it feels super sturdy.The app installation and pairing was easy. One thing that was quirky is the firmware upgrade. Apparently, the factory default firmware is outdated and once you pair to it and setup wifi it'll download the upgrade in the background (which unlocks live mode). I struggled with this and reached out to their support via email - the response was within minutes of sending. Excellent support!
