GretschG9110 Concert Standard Ukulele with Gig Bag, Vintage Mahogany Stain

This was the third ukulele I that bought (I now have seven) and although I have now graduated more to larger tenor ukuleles which are easier to play with my ungainly meat-hook hands this is still my go-to ukulele - the first one that I pick up to work out stuff and just to play along at home.I love the look of it - the concert size is more typical of a ukulele rather than the larger tenor, I like its satin mahogany finish, it's tasteful headstock, the slotted bridge and the overall understated look. It's an all laminate ukulele but the top is quite thin and I find it plenty loud enough with a nice mellow, darker tone. The neck is very comfortable and is complete with front and side markers. It comes with bone nut and saddle and also Grover machine heads which hold their tuning very well.At this price it is a steel, I now have ukuleles that cost three and four times this price but, as I say, this is still the one that I most reach out for.
