Nero Platinum 2019 Box

Superb software...........The Audials is especially good allowing you to record podcasts and digital radio. Well worth the hard earned cash you might spend on it.

After years using 'Nero' products,I find this to be still the best software for media projects. The 'Platinum' suite has straightforward apps included, easy to use, and avoiding all of the 'clever' over-complicated 'essential' features which make some alternative products almost unusable. Great ! Was a bit surprised that my 'Nero' box came 'unwrapped' thru the post, with an address label stuck on it .... a shortage of 'Amazon Card packaging maybe ?

I spent all morning loading and updating the software per the instructions. In addition to the serial number, Nero says it needs an activation code which it says is in the package. It wasn't.I will seek a refund if I cannot use this software.(Later) It somehow got activated hours later, without a code number. The software is impressive but Nero needs to clean up this activation number confusion.

Although the interface does at first appear easy to navigate it does seem to omit some small and obvious customisation options particularly in Nero Video. The first point isn't a deal breaker, however every so often the software won't start up because it is missing a necessary dll file (which it miraculously finds when you restart the computer!). It fails to complete a burn to disc on almost half the occasions I have tried with nero video. I've googled these issues and apparently it's not me, it happens to a considerable amount of users . Most of my issues it must be said lay at the feet of nero video, as for the rest my only real gripe is with the way the company advertises a lot of software features as if they are included and when you come to use them they say "more money please!", the Audials software is essentially useless unless you pay them more money. Think I'll be going back to Roxio.

Have been using Nero Express for years and was looking for a tool without ads that would provide these. The suite comes very complete with all you need to modify files and burn to discs (cds or dvds) and I think Nero has come a long way. The prices have really come down in the past 20 years and the suite offers all most consumers could possibly need. Combined with the excellent customer service of Nero, it is the suite to go for. Having said that, I notice that the drag and drop function of Windows Media Player also makes it pretty easy to burn discs but for converting from Spotify or Youtube to mp3, wma or mp4 etc Nero is my preferred tool

Bought it to create and Burn Slideshows. IT FAILED AT THE FIRST HURDLE. It does not create Slide Shows at all. It Gathers all your media from your drives then does absolutely nothing for you. In Video it can play back to review, but you can't adjust either the slide length or music looping to match the other. FAILED. In Media Home it gathers all your media info off your drives, then when you try to play back the slideshow all you get is A BIG FAT BLACK SCREEN. The Live help tells me that I am not connected to the internet, so how come FireFox is okay, Amazon UK is fine. And everyone else in the world excepts the fact that I AM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. THIS IS A SHAMBLES FROM AN ESTABLISHED SOFTWARE PROVIDER. THE MANUALS EXPLAIN NOTHING.DON'T WASTE YOUR BREATH. THE BIGGEST LOAD OF RUBBISH I'VE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF MISTAKENLY BUYING.

Like many people, I take my time going through many reviews and write-ups, and I though i`d made the right judgment call on this. However, despite having all the correct o/s (Windows 10) and computer specifications, the software only partially worked. The video effects section didn`t work at all, although things like clip transitions and text were okay. The video tutorials worked for a time, although they weren`t too informative, but even they stopped working after a while. I tried to find solutions online, and also tried to run software repair a couple of times, but no improvement. I finally sent a support ticket message in on 3rd July, but no personal response as of yesterday (12th). I know there is a pandemic, but we are all communicating electronically. I have now decided to return the product for a refund as it does not fulfill the purpose it was bought for, and despite a full installation - including the theme packs etc - a large part of it doesn`t work. Awaiting refund once the package has been processed by Amazon.

Use the package for Creating My Sons Wedding Video. It is fairly comprehensive and includes a lot of other features. Only problem is that to produce an 'Advanced Video' there is a LOT to learn.
