Solid and foolproof
Ok, I had been using a painted wine bottle cork hanging from the ceiling, but I was always a few inches forward or backward. Too far forward and I couldn't open my cabinet door all the way. Too far back would be a problem with opening the tailgate with the garage door closed. This rubber bumper is heavy-duty and you lag it to the garage floor. It's easy to position and then you just drill the two mounting holes into the concrete with your trusty hammer drill. Yes, you need a hammer drill and a 1/2" concrete bit able to drill a hair over 4 inches into the concrete (assuming you are using the provided lag screw kit). You need to vacuum the concrete dust out of the holes before you insert the yellow sleeve. A trick to putting in the sleeve is to hammer it in with a rubber mallet until it stops with about 1.5 inches sticking out and starts to accordion on itself. Before you deform it, stop, take the lag bolt, insert it into the sleeve and give it a couple turns into the threads of the sleeve. Then you can carefully hammer on the bolt to finish the insertion of the plastic sleeve flush with the floor. It took me longer to move the car back and forth to test the bumper's position than it did to drill and bolt it to the floor. This bumper is excellent and much more trustworthy bolted down than stuck there with tape. You won't be disappointed when you pull into your garage and carefully come to a solid stop every time.

They work great
These garage parking blocks work great. Instead of using the bolts that were supplied with the blocks I used some stainless steel bolts with anchors in the concrete that are much stronger.

Works well when fastened into pavement
Product is very sturdy. I just use one for each of the cars in the garage. They move around if you do not screw them down into pavement/concrete using the supplied screws. Once they are screwed down the vehicle can actually hit with some force and not cause any issue. I did not try mounting using any adhesive as others have because less mess just drilling into concrete and no worries with adhesive failure. If I replace my car I can drill 2 new holes as needed and fill in the old holes (no need to scrape off adhesive that way and can reuse supplied screws) - gave it 5 stars for adhesion because I am using supplied screws and no issue with SUV driving into them. So far very happy with these.

Perfect for my son’s garage
My son has an old large vintage car which had to be parked carefully and exactly in his garage to fit. I bought this for him to help guide him with parking his car. It did the trick and has worked beautifully!!!!

Very robust blocks
The product is heavy duty , we use it as a parking stop when driving in our garage . Did not have to anchor because it does not move and stops vehicle well. This allows for vehicle changes and to clear the floor for other activities.Although we have car sensors that aid in parking ,this product is a great safe guard .Highly recommended for such use,

Solid... when installed.... it won’t move
I like it... purchased to assist in parking in the garage. Directions are simple. 5/16 concrete drill bit on a hammer drill makes short work of the drilling. The anchors are solid. Only issue was the directions specified a 1/2 inch socket... that was a little too small for the head of the fastener... I used a 13mm socket and the fit was perfect. Recommend.

The smell!!!
These work quite well but I had to take off two stars because they smell SO bad it'll almost knock you down! I mean, imagine the worst burnt rubber (tire burnout) odor and multiply it by 100! I had to take the box that it came in and leave it outside until trash day because the cardboard was saturated in the stench. I finally spray painted both blocks with multiple coats of spray paint and while it helped a little, they still smell. For about 2 weeks, guests would ask "what is that burnt tire smell?" as it was so powerful you could smell it in the house! I'm guessing these are made from old tires but they don't just smell like a tire shop: more like a tire shop on FIRE. Thankfully the smell has reduced quite a bit in a few weeks so it's not as objectionable... but you can still smell it in the garage.
