Very good replacement part.
This cartridge was pretty much identical to the original equipment part. It was easily installed and performed as expected.

Worked Fine for Me
I used this part to fox a leaky shower. I didn’t have any trouble with this part.It was easy to install, and it had all of the parts that I needed to replace everything.Unlike some of the other reviewers’ experiences, my temperature knob was smooth and easy to operate. It’s actually smoother than the original part, but that might be because it was so old.My leak stopped, and the shower works perfectly now. Maybe not being an OEM part means it may fail later on, but since I was replacing a bad OEM part to begin with, I’m not very concerned with trying an aftermarket part. An OEM part would cost more, and I wasn’t able to get one as quickly, either.I’m happy with it so far. If it fails in a few months, I’ll come back and edit my review.

Perfectly fit and function
My old one kept dripping water. This one perfectly fits and works. No more dripping. I hope it will work long time.

Easy installation, once you get the old one apart.
In old assembly, internal rubber broke up and lodged in valve, immediately shutting off water. Corrosion on bronze sleeve made unscrewing it very difficult. Applying new rubber cups and springs to interior slots is tricky, but succeeded with some single finger patience. New cartridge worked fine, though the water throughput seems a little reduced. Note that the cartridge has a tab that needs to slide into a slot in the old housing

It works
It came with no instructions or parts list of any kind. So you better know what you’re doing if you’re doing this yourself. I watched the how to videos on Delta’s website and I apparently missed the video for the disassembly for my model. So when I thought I was removing the “bonnet” was actually just a slip on collar. So I was puzzled by how the handle was supposed to come off. Well with my strap wrench on the slip-on cover thinking I was removing the bonnet and the next thing I know is the handle is on the shower floor. Didn’t think much of it at the time. So now I remove the inner springs and washers. Replaced the other washers and went back to reassemble the faucet. That’s when I noticed that it couldn’t go back on because I ended up shearing the plastic spline. So after knocking out the broken spline I was able to fix the leak. Appearance really doesn’t matter because you don’t see the parts. Great value for the money and I believe that it’s as durable as the original one. Tip if your model is like mine try wiggling it off pulling straight out. I had so much soap scum I didn’t see how it was supposed to come off. I got too focused on the “bonnet” and be careful when turning bonnet nut because it’s usually brass and is easy to bend out of shape like using channel locks or pipe wrench.

Minor issue with part but no more leaky faucet
Product came in a bag (not original Delta packaging) with all the needed parts and O-ring seals. Installation was fairly simple after watching a online YouTube video on how its done. Took pictures of disassembly of old cartridge so reassembly would be accurate. Old original cartridge had the HOT SIDE label on the top side when I pulled it apart. Upon reassembly I installed the new unit with HOT SIDE on the top. After installation was done and I turned water back on and unfortunately the hot and cold was backwards. Had to tear it all apart and turn the cartridge upside down so the HOT SIDE label was on the bottom. Picture attached shows the old original label on the top. That said I am not sure if this was a QA problem where they printed the label on the wrong side. Or because these are after market parts that's just the way it is. Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience. Once I flipped the cartridge around HOT and COLD valve functuonality was correct. Other than that parts fit exactly as OEM delta part an I had no more leaky tub faucet.
