yes, the mugs are made in China. Also the mugs are stoneware, not corelle. But I have to say the set of Corelle plates, salad plates & bowls are awesome. The coffee cups are great for coffee, they are just a thicker quality.

Q: Does andyone know what size microwave would be needed for these dishes? I don't want the edges of the plates to hit when rotating.
