James is THE BEST
I don't write reviews but I have to tell others about James from Sunbank! We got an 80 gallon solar water heater and installed it ourselves. It works very well in Southern California. The installation was a little challenging for us, but James helped every step of the way and was even available to give us advice a full year after we had purchased the unit. He was always quick to respond with a thorough and helpful answer! I wish all businesses were run like Sunbank with people like James!

Free hot water. Nothing like it.
I just finished a Do It Yourself Sunbank install. I did two 40 gallon units hooked in series. A very doable project. These panels and system DO work. I had 175 Degree hot water that is too hot. I have since installed a 15 Watt solar panel and 15 Watt solar pump and that works flawlessly. That flows the solar heated water through the two 40 gallon Sunbank tanks and the 20 gallon tank that the solar panels feed. (See photos) So far it seems like a pretty good system.NOW, THREE YEARS LATER: System is still FLAWLESS. Same little pump and solar panel. No leaks. Lots of hot water. Most every day the same little fist sized pump pushes the 100 gallons of solar heated water through the system. LOVE IT!

Outstanding pre and post sale service!!!!! Outstanding product
Outstanding service and product. James and his team were exceptionally helpful at all stages of the project, providing advice and guidance the whole way. James even sent me a handful of extra Tbolts at his cost (including shipping) to assist in an unusual install.The product is outstanding. It's form factor is a bit unusual for the USA, but I was able to make it work, got approvals from the city and, believe it or not, the Home Owners Association. Functionally, it's outstanding. I monitor my power circuits, and see that the water heater power demand has dropped from over 25% of my monthly power demand, to 2%. That's huge. Very happy customer.Mike

Just installed two of these 40 gallon systems in St. Thomas. Great quality, excellent support and fantastic results. Lot's of hot water in short period of time. Folks at SUNBANK were very helpful in arranging shipment and working with me on determining best configuration for my needs.Highly recommended!
