Fine Bular Wheat
I used this bulgar to make Tabouli. Just put in a bowl cover the grain with boiling water & let it sit. It was perfect for my recipe & tasted great.

I've bought this multiple times
I really like this for making tabbouleh or in my meatloaf. Unfortunately this last purchase arrived in the box. As in the bag was ripped and the wheat was all over the other items in the Amazon box. Total waste and no way to get a refund.

Bulgur for Tabouli
I wanted authentic bulgur for tabouli salad instead of couscous. The directions show washing the bulgur a couple of times, but that is unnecessary as I just poured boiling water over it. Next time i would boil 3 cups of water and pour until it just covers it, as the first time I hadn't enough water. Soak it until soft, squeeze out the excess water and add. I used 3/4 cup raw bulgur for my 3 bunches of parsley, 3 roma's and i cuke. I don't like green onions so I left them out. Than I doused it with olive oil and about 1/2 cup of lemon juice.Mine just doesn't seem like the stuff at the deli, but it's close.

Very nice, and I have no complaints
Very nice, and I have no complaints, so no reason not to give it 5 stars. HOWEVER, next time I will order a brand like Bob's Red Mill, with the hull still attached, and crack it myself. I prefer the slight chewiness of that approach. This was just too ... refined? ... for my preference, although the tabouli salads I have been making with it are getting rave reviews from others. And by the way, do NOT cook the bulgur for tabouli — no boiling water, etc. Just soak an hour and use, with fresh lemon juice plus zest, a bit of green onion or chopped vidalia, and mounds of chopped mint and parsley; finish with a little olive oil, and sugar (to offset the lemon), salt, and pepper. Much, much better, and this brand certainly is up to the taste test for this very fresh approach!
