This pack looks at the royal House of Stuart and the religious tensions that dominated during their reigns. Contains images of artworks that depict some of the most notable events. Note: An additional minisheet of stamps is included in the back of the pack.
The fourth in a series of six special stamp issues celebrating the Monarchy through the Ages. This issue features The Houses of Stuart and includes portraits of some of our most famous monarchs. In 1603 when the last of the Tudors, Queen Elizabeth I died. This Led to the union of the crowns making James VI of Scotland also King James I of England, the only Monarch to warrant two stamps in the Kings and Queens series.
Ideal as a gift or keepsake, making a wonderful addition to any collection.
