I can not say enough good about this heater. The installation was quick and simple for the most part. And wow is really puts out the heat, and does so safely. I was actually amazed at just how much space it could heat. I was using electric heaters before and of course my electric bills were like a second mortgage, so after installing this it one did a better job than 4 of them could do all by itself.. cut my heating down to 1/3 what it was.. and actually heated more space evenly.. I highly recommend this heater to anyone..pitch those electric things and go gas.. Also it is dual fuel both natural gas and propane gas..I went the natural gas route.. so I can't really review it using propane :o)

This is the second ProCom and they are great. My first one quit after more than 7 years but needed replacement because of operator neglect. The second (actually third) was very easy to install, of course we already had the gas line installed. It was up and operating in less than 90 minutes. We use it in our TV room formerly a three season screened porch in the back of the house. Consequently, it was not set up with heating duct work and therefore no heat. The ProCom was the perfect answer. With respect to this being the "third" is the replacement second one arrived, was installed, but it proved to have a faulty control and kept going out. But, I ordered a replacement which arrived in a matter of a few days. I had already taken the other off the wall and boxed it back up with the printed shipping label, ready to go. The day the "third" arrived, it was opened, installed and proved working in good order. That same day the return was returned to the UPS store, dropped off no fuss no muss.On second thought, we actually had a previous ProCom set for propane heating we used in our Florida house before we moved. That was handed down to a nephew and is still working well in his northern Michigan cabin.

I think I got a sun burn just standing in front of this for a few minutes..in a good way. Really takes the chill out of any room in minutes. Costs pennies per day to run and uses zero electricity in the event of a power outage. Even on low, my main boiler hasn't run but a few times this whole month. It's practically paid for itself in just 2 months? The gas line is a 3/8 NPT coming in from the bottom of the unit. If you plan on using the feet, you will need a 90 degree elbow for sure. Simply amazing how much it puts out, using so little natural gas.

I installed it and turned it on. It set off the smoke detector. There was an odor coming from it so I shut it down. Apparently after operating it a period of time intermittently, the odor went away the smoke detector stopped. I have it may basement and it works just great! I have the thermostat set about 2-3 and it controls the room temperature to 68 deg F. Fan operates with the thermostat. I'm very satisfied after getting the smoke detector to stop alarming.

Seems fairly well constructed, and not overly complicated. Lights easily, both the pilot light and the main flame. The lower mounting screw holes are difficult to access, and they're behind the gas burner tube(s). Easy enough to choose NG or LP, and found it easiest to use a small flexible gas fitting for the final foot or so. THE BAD: this unit came with the internal auto-fan. The fan tends to blow out the pilot, and stop the heating process. I believe it's a pilot adjustment issue and we're going to have our furnace person look. This would be VERY FRUSTRATING for someone not mechanically oriented. Runs for days if you don't use the fan.

So far so good 👌 easy to install, I have this in my barn to keep meds and such from freezing, plus a room to warm up and take a break, clean tack etc.The propane tank is outside of course, happy with this unit so far, especially wanted this one because it has a thermostat, so it shuts off when it comes up to my desired temp, just above freezing at night, and warmer during the day.

Installed by Professional Licensed Plumber and maintain pieces were missing so it Could not be used. COMPANY Will Not Respond after Several attempts to contact them. I'm stuck with it and I'm Very upset. If our Electricity goes out we have No alternate heat source now 😒

it’s a fail. Only works when the blower is turned off, otherwise the pilot light goes out when the burners turn off. This is our second one.... first one broke within a year. We hoped it was a fluke.... it wasn’t.....just a truly poorly built heater.
