I’m in my 70’s and have naturally gray hair. In order to play down yellowish tones, I started using purple hair conditioner. It really just gives a lavender tone to my hair, not bright purple. A couple of drugstore brands I used were okay, but they didn’t deposit much color in the white hair around my face. This Paul Mitchell brand has been much more effective in depositing lavender highlights throughout my hair, including around the face. Plus, it conditions my hair better. As for me, I leave the conditioner on my hair while I shower and rinse it out last. So far, this product is working for me.

This is a pretty good product. Years ago they had one just made for white or gray hair that seemed to work a little bit better. Unfortunately, this is probably the best one on the market right now.

My hair didn't feel moisturized after using this conditioner and it's kind of a runny formula. Smells ok and it's purple and didn't do any damage to my hair either, so it's not the worst but I'd say this is a flop compared to other PM products.
