Gastromax Pan Slice/Turner, Black

I know it's silly to love a spatula so let's just say I'm extremely fond of this one. Pros: (1) It lasts and lasts. I have one I bought ten years ago and it's just starting to show signs of wear after constant use. The new one I purchased on Amazon appears identical. (2) It works beautifully. The leading edge is thin yet sturdy making the turner great for flipping eggs, crepes, cookies—all manner of foods. (4) It doesn't scratch my pans. (5) It's dishwasher proof. Cons: It makes my other spatulas sad; I never use them.

I bought one of these about 10 years ago and use it all the time. It was getting a bit frayed on the edges, so looked for a new one. The kitchen places no longer carried them (they got replaced with cheap plastic stuff from you know where), so was so thrilled to find them on Amazon. I got this one and the slotted one - both are high quality and don't scratch non-stick pans. I'm a happy cook. I paid five dollars for it - I don't know if I'd pay the 24 dollars it's listed at now!

This is a wonderful spatula for omelettes, single pancakes, and even for scrambled eggs. It is my spouse's favorite spatula and I bought two extra to go with the one that we have had for a couple of years. We have been looking for one in kitchen stuff stores for a year or two and happy I decided to look on Amazon and find one. Price was a bit steep on this one, but there are other Amazon suppliers I found latere that carry it for less.

Love this spatula, I just wish it was a little wider. It being so versatile almost makes up for the fact though --- I seriously use this for everything from cooking meat to baking cookies.

I love the look and the way it turns eggs, but it is blistering from the heat. I will have to throw it away soon because the blisters are going to start to flake. Quite disappointed

Love it! Slim styling and edges beveled to easily slide under eggs, fish, cookies, etc. Will probably order another for holiday baking.

This is an excellent tool. What makes it so useful compared to other pan slice/turners is the fact that it is so thin, yet strong and flexible at the same time. Being so thin comes is particularly useful when flipping over fish in a frying pan - it is so thin it will slide under fish without ripping up the skin. Great for loosening fried eggs too. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. I too, have two of them, so I always have a spare one to hand when the other one is in the dishwasher.

Der Wender aus Kunststoff beschädigt keine Beschichtung, ist sehr elastisch und dadurch zum Unterfahren von Omlettes u. ä., die fester am Pfannenboden anhaften, sehr gut geeignet. Da der Wender dazu auch noch sehr dünn gearbeitet und an den Rändern noch zusätzlich abgeschrägt ist, lassen sich gerade empfindliche Speisen sehr gut aufnehmen. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung für Hobbyköche. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert, wie gut sich mit diesem relativ unscheinbaren "Werkzeug" arbeiten lässt.

Had a pair of these for well over ten years but I managed to snap one (don't know how) and been looking for another affordable one for a couple of years. Now all good. Replacement seems as good as originals. Light, strong, flexible and extremely slim.

I love this thing. We had new Tefal nonstick pan set and I am very bad for using a knife in the pan, say to cut bacon. This little spatula has not only sorted that with its sharp edges but is now almost all I ever use. It's slips under eggs and omletts so easy. I only use the big spatula as a side tool now.
