As a strength and condition coach and certified athletic trainer, my clients and athlete’s are required to have a daily soft tissue practice that includes self-myofascial release on a quality foam roller. It is an important component of our programming in order to maintain, and improve soft tissue quality as it relates to recovery, hypertrophy, and successful training practices.These daily routines utilizing a foam roller become integral to the point where many people have several choices of foam rollers that they keep in their homes and use at their workout facilities. However, they are awkward to travel with. This has become an issue with many of my clients because they rely on soft tissue release and trigger point management especially when subjected to a great deal of airline travel. This roller solves not only the travel issue, but also allows easy storage in an office, automobile, backpack, or any room in the home.It collapses flat to 1.5” thick!! It is very light, but very durable. It will support up to 350 lbs. You pull on the end strings and it locks into a full functioning foam roller. A quick press on each end of the cylinder sends the roller back into it’s flat state. Brilliant!!As I also alluded to in the title, you are not settling for an inferiorly designed foam roller because of it portability. This is literally one of the more effective foam rollers I have used. Its size is perfect and the textured nubs on the exterior seem to be just the right amount of hardness and irregularity to get into most problem areas of the body. I highly recommend you purchase this awesome product so you can have a high quality foam roller with you pretty much wherever you need it!

Great for travel, firm but foam is soft it doesn’t hurt too bad. I put it in my suitcase for every trip as I like to roll daily

I use yoga rollers every day. I have a variety of sizes and manufacturers that I have bought from. I jumped on this because there's no other product out here like this one. I also travel a lot. So it's either buy a lot of foam rollers, and throw them away recycle or donate them at the end of my assignment, or just bring something with me that I can take home and save some money. I give this four stars Because the deep tissue roller that I got, if you get on the floor with it it's not that smooth of a role. However it does mimic a mild adjustment from the chiropractor. So it does the job just probably not in the way that you're used to the job getting done. What I have done is use a spare bed and rolled on the bed and it works beautifully. I plan to buy the regular version and attach them together for a larger roller that I can use for a variety of things. I have owned similar deep tissue rollers of the same size from other manufacturers and the roll on the floor has not been as drastic, to paint a picture....definitely worth the buy though. Construction is unique--im 160 lbs and basically do a pilates routine on this thing morning and night lol.UPDATE 12/2023. I can't travel without at least one of these rollers. Ever ever. Since my initial review, I've advanced my skills and results, adding yoga and balancing....learn how your muscles relate to one another and this roller will keep you from injuring yourself. i have to roll, no other way to manage decades of bad posture, bad ankles, bad foot genes.....if I stick to my routine of literally 360 degrees, I can stall on a chiro visit. It unbounds. my muscles always. Never had so much self-care success with any other product for anything.

A good product and it performs as expected in most cases. It is a bit on the soft side, which may be alright for certain populations, I was looking for something a bit more firm. I'll still use it, and its very nice to collapse and toss in my gym bag. Definitely worth it!

I was looking for a foam roller for travel purposes that wouldn’t take up too much space in my bag and this checks all the boxes. It is light, portable and the perfect stiffness to tackle my soft tissue needs while traveling. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice portable option to get some pain relief on the road.

We love this collapsible foam roller. It is made well and works great. Fits in suitcase and no problems with checking it in a bag. Great back therapy on the road. We were watching the 2024 Olympics on TV and Simone Biles had this exact foam roller, same brand name, next to her on the floor during her warmups. That says enough.

I have used a multitude of foam rollers for over two decades specifically for the thoracic region of my spine and surrounding fascia. I desperately needed to bring a foam roller with me on a camping trip. Space was limited and whatever wouldn't fit in my hiking pack would not be coming with me. I took a leap of faith and searched for a travel and/or collapsible foam roller and this magically manifested out of the aether!I found the firmness of the material to be not too soft and not too firm--right in the Goldilocks zone. The method of opening and collapsing the foam roller is highly innovative and incredibly easy to perform. The included mesh carrying case was perfect for stowing away in my hiking pack which prevented any nicks, rips, or tears to the foam roller's material.One of the best and most pragmatic investments I have ever made for health.

It broke today. I bought this for when I travel and it didn’t even live thru my second trip. I wanted this to work out and be great but I don’t recommend it and now I am beyond the return window. It is entirely too expense to break after a grand total of seven days of usage. It would get 0 stars but in order to submit, you have to at least give a star.
