I have purchased this vitamin D from Swanson for years to maintain my vitamin D levels.The old bottles said: Other ingredients: Safflower oil, gelatin, glycerin, purified water.The new bottles now say: Other ingredients: Safflower oil, soybean oil, gelatin, glycerin, purified water, vegetable oil.I don't know why they changed the ingredients, but I will no longer buy this because it has added soybean oil and vegetable oil. I have 3 of the new bottles that can't be returned because I have had them to long so I will be throwing them in the trash where they belong. Time to look for another brand.

Use: Small, easy to swallow pills that aren’t an issue every morning for me. I love that these aren’t horse pills that don’t require me to have a full meal when I eat them. No nausea either. For me, that is extremely important. I will easily drop a product that is too big or requires 5 capsules for the serving size. This is just one small pill.Value: best value considering I take one every single day.Buy these, you won’t be disappointed.

D3 5000IU are sometimes difficult to find for a good price, especially since the information was published about D3, C, zinc, magnesium, vitamins/minerals in high potency single units. I've been taking all my vitamins in individual units of maximum potency for over 20 years -- my experience with COVID-19 was <100F, few body aches and pain, and a postnasal drip cough. Ibuprofen relieved the fever, aches, pains, and generic Benadryl eliminated the postnasal drip and subsequent cough. Illness only lasted 7 days, and I've had worse colds. I will continue to take maximum strength individual vitamins/minerals !!!

I thought I had bought what I usually get, which is the 60 day supply and hard capsules. Imagine my delight when I saw these are 250 soft gels! I really saved by buying two bottles at a very reasonable price. Mind you, I thought I was only getting 120 capsules.As most American's, I have Vitamin D deficiency. So these are right up my alley plus I love the fact they have Coconut Oil in them. And I only have to take one a day! Now you just can't beat that. I take one, with my Calcium Citrate with Magnesium, also from Swanson, my Tart Cherry and one garlic capsule before bed. I have less leg cramps when I do all of them.To top it all off, they are made by Swanson. I have been using their products, for many years and swear by the efficacy of their products.So, for me, this was a win win purchase all the way around, especially since they are sold by Swanson here on Amazon.

Swanson Vitamin D-3 5000 IU Bone Health Immune Support Healthy Muscle Function D3 SupplementI bought this 2/2021 then looked online and found that the labelled "125mcg, 5,000 IU, 625% of recommended daily value" exceeds the 4,000 IU maximum recommended long term for normal people, and could lead long term to kidney stones or other problems.Then today 3/2021 the photo for the same product # says "1,250% of recommended daily value". WTH? Aside from a doctor's prescription, why would anyone want to exceed recommended daily maximum by more than a thousand percent?Please do your research before choosing a supplement.

I'm Type 1 diabetic with Stage 3 Kidney Failure. As a result, my Vitamin D levels were always dangerously low. My endocrinologist initially had me taking 10K units per day in an attempt to raise my level. Before I discovered this product, I was forced to take 4 or even more tablets or gels.This is the only affordable brand of supplement that offers such a high level dosage in one small gel. I already take myriad pills multiple times daily. Swanson's 5000 u gels are tiny and are an easy addition to my other meds.It took well over a year but, by using this product daily, my Vitamin D level is finally as close to normal as it can be. Now I'm able to maintain a healthy Vitamin D level with just the 5000 units daily provided by just one gel.

Switched from generic brand vitamin D after the doctor told me I needed to start taking it when I already was. Started taking Swanson and the lab tests confirmed this stuff works way better. Been several years and it's great.Recently I got a bottle that all the capsules had fused together into a big glob (sometimes they stick and you can just swirl your finger in them to break them up, but this was one solid mass). I didn't realize until after the Amazon return period, so I called the company direct. 3 minutes later they had a new bottle in the mail, and sent it 2nd-day delivery too! Great service on top of a high-quality product!Highly recommend!
