These are excellent Hinges. Installed many of these to my cabinet build today. Very strong and seems to hold up more weight than expected. The soft close feature is a very nice added touch!

Who knew hinges were so complicated. Bought four different ones that didn’t work for my installation before these. As others have said nearly impossible to figure out how to open and close them. I even broke one trying to pry it with a screw driver BUT that showed me how it worked so I was able to install and Voila! It worked perfectly. Project complete. Google it there are videos showing how to open and close them. Maybe manufacturer could put a video address showing how it works and some directions with the hinges so others would not have the problems of trying to figure them out.

This is for the surface mounted hinges 90deg. These do not close on their own. You have the push the door closed. There is not adjustability making them quite difficult to install.

I built an arcade cabinet out of 3/4" mdf that had a 4'x2' top where the controls were that can flip up. MDF is very heavy and I didn't want kids fingers getting caught in there if I was working on the guts of the machine. I installed 4 of these hinges to hold the MDF panel in the upright position, spaced about 10" apart from each other. The hinges easily hold the panel up and I think I could have gotten away with using only 2. It's also great that these hinges hold the panel down when closed. I thought I would need a latch to secure the panel down, but the hinges provide a lot of close-force. The only issue I have with them is the mounting plate seemed to bend pretty easily. One came bent and I thought I'd have to hammer it flat, but I was able to bend it pretty close to flat with my hands. The screws flattened it out the rest when secured. I'd buy these again if needed

I used these hinges to make a top opening cabinet. I would have preferred to use button head screws, but the ones that were supplied work well enough. I like the soft close function, it is nice not to have the door slam every time we close the cabinet. Just a note, whenever the doors close, the hinges cause the doors to move backwards a little bit. So, if you think you are setting a tight gap between the doors, it might turn out slightly different than you are expecting.

Way too stiff for normal cabinets. It requires so much force to pry open, and your average can door is much too thin for the screws required for this much force. It's a good strong hinge, but not for light to medium use, only heavy lol

A nickel is an easy way to measure 2mm and a nickel and a dime is 3mm.

We needed to replace the hinges on our entertainment center cabinets. These flat hinges worked great. Very happy with this purchase and the quality.

Easy to install, and the quality seems really good. There's a little play in the hinge, but I'll bet you'd find that in most of the hinges of this sort. It's a complicated part to build.

The hinges are good but came with no instructions so installation was difficult. Once installed they worked well. Soft close and spring open. Great for overhead pop up cabinets

At first I thought the hinges were very stiff without actual mounting .It turned out that once it was used and screwed down , it is fine. There is no need to use air strut for support if the panel is not too heavy or there is any safety concern. As to the cost per item , i wish it will be a little cheaper.However , I could swallow that without the added air strut . Thank you.
