functional but poor battery life makes them useless
Bought two of these. They are compatible with a Zipato Zipabox controller and work great.Unfortunately the supplied battery in each lasted just under 8 weeks - the packaging claims 2-3 years! I've replaced the batteries with Duracel, hopefully they will last longer--- Update 3 months later ---The batteries on these need changing every 4-6 weeks, which is terrible as they aren't cheap. As such these aren't really fit for purpose.

Pretty good, once you configure them right
I have 2 of these. After almost a year they're still using the same battery they came with. I think it's down to how often you have them reporting. They're like all Z-Wave devices - quite technical, highly configurable, annoyingly complex and relatively poorly documented. You can configure these to send regular light and temperature readings. By default they're very infrequent. They can monitor a doorway and space by magnet and PIR. Note no humidity sensor. The Aeotec ones are slightly easier to configure and do humidity too, but at a lot higher cost.
