I've had a beard for a little more than 10 years. In that time, I've tried many products and landed on a simple regimen where my course hair is tamed and soft. As I'm always on the hunt for a softer beard, and given I use Suavecito's pomade, I figured I'd give this a try. But in less than a week, not changing anything else, this not only did not soften my beard but it dried it out - to the point of resulting in a constant itch (I dont think I ever had an itch beard)! 2 days after I stopped using this product, the itch went away and my beard balm started to repair the damage. I should have been wary given the amount of alcohols in the ingredients. The review asks me to mention scent and packaging: sure it smells fine and the bottle looks professional. But who cares if it doesn't perform its basic and intended function?! I'm disappointed to the point of feeling duped and betrayed by the brand.
