Very sturdy. Looks stunning. Vety strong magnet. Secures safely on my phonecase. Very slim and easy to hold.

I bought this product on 20th March 2019 and it cost £9.99 (£14.48 if you include delivery & VAT), it lasted until today (4th June 2019). At first it was brilliant, the ring had no play and stayed exactly where you put it. It was simple to install and the adhesive is super strong. It looked really good on my phone, very low profile and stylish. It even prevented several near misses where, without it, my phone would have crashed to the floor. However, over time the hinge became looser and looser until today it completely broke and the ring now just flops about uselessly on the back of my phone. That really strong adhesive is a pain to remove and leaves a residue behind that required several spritzes of sticky stuff remover to clean off. It looks like the pin that acts as a hinge has simply worn out and broken off. I’d expect that after years of use and abuse but I’ve had it for 76 days! I’m very disappointed with this product, I looked really carefully at reviews for phone rings and this product always came out on top. The good reviews are accurate but they just don’t mention the serious lack of durability this product suffers from. Honestly, I’d avoid this product at all costs unless you are happy to buy another one every 3 months.

I've had this ring stand for 6 months and have found is good to use and versatile in terms of hold and position. Unfortunately the ring is now lose. It seems the pin has come out of place and I can't get it back in, even with the help of my husband who's a mechanic. The ring still spins fine and holds the chosen position but it won't stay in propped positions. Which means it's no longer usable as a stand. It's disappointing as I bought this ring stand on the basis Spigen is a reputable company, I expected it last longer than 6 months.

I purchased this back in June and I have always found Spigens phonescases very good quility. This was a great product to start of with, very sturdy and has remained stuck onto the case well. But 7 months on the ring started to become a little lose over a few days and now is completely lose that is it unusable. Similar to another customer it looks like a little pin that is the hinge is lose and there doesn't seem to be a way of pushing it back in even with some force.

I bought this because I needed something to grip my large and heavy iPhone 12 Pro Max better, but it needed to be a multi-functional product as I wanted it to be magnetic car mount compatible. After reading reviews I chose this one purely because people seemed to agree it was sturdy enough, swivels 360, sticks well AND MOUNTS securely to a magnet mount. So far, I have only had it a short while so I can’t comment on the longevity of the product - I will update that in due course. As a first point, it’s already getting some signs of scuffing after light use. It’s stuck on very firmly and no signs of lift or movement, my phone feels secure when held by just the ring alone. The ring is a little stiff from new, so a bit of a faff to swivel or pull open the ring, but I imagine this will ease with time - hopefully not as much as some reviews have said though! My main gripe is that it really isn’t sufficiently large enough a metal surface area for a heavier, larger phone to mount securely to a magnetic mount. I have a Rhinoshield Solidsuit case over my IPhone 12 Pro Max - which is not a hugely heavy/bulky case, but does definitely add some weight. The phone is not light by any stretch of the imagination anyway. I also have positioned the ring a little further down the phone instead of dead centre, because I have small hands so this position works better for me. After seemingly mounting securely, the phone fell as soon as the car started moving. No amount of repositioning helped - it’s just not strong enough or large enough surface area to hold onto a large or heavy phone securely. In the end I had to do what I wanted to avoid, which was insert a thin piece of metal in between phone and case, so I can attach it further up from the ring’s position. I feel like this should be added as a disclaimer if it hasn’t already - compatible with magnetic car mount - BUT NOT SUITABLE for heavier / larger phones / or max weight etc. Overall it’s comfortable enough and serves its main purpose, but disappointed it doesn’t really cover the magnetic mount function it promised.

A solid item and good use of the stand, however the sticky pads are not strong and have needed to replace them.

My first ever phone ring. Needed one after upgrade to Note, to keep the phone safe and make easier, comfortable use of the phone, without the worry of dropping it. I went for brand I trust, more pricey but so worth it. I left it to stick properly for 2 hours, as per instruction. And the ring sticks well, real quality feel to it, able to rotate in any direction desired for comfort. You can't beat Spigen as a phone accessory brand.

Ordered the first one and have been really happy with it. Unfortunately my external case cracked and have had to use the spare adhesive pad to reattach to the phone directly, and now it doesn't stick properly. Have a new one on order, hopefully that sorts it.

After one month of use the ring became loose I think the screw that holds the ring to the base is the reason.

Good adhesion. Stuck very well even on my matte finish phone cover. The ring revolves around so it is very convenient.

Just got this ring for my phone and for the first few days of use it was great, super solid and just what I wanted. It spins nicely, supports the phone, and feel sleek and not cheap. Now, just days later, the pin at the top is coming out and it's less solid. I have tried pushing the pin back in but can't get it to work. I wanna love this product I just wish it was functional. Update: contacted Spigen and they are sending me a new ring. Will update again 😊 product support was easy and helpful!
