Great socks!
I pretty much ONLY wear american eagle clothing. Whether it's t-shirts, jeans, socks, etc, in my closet, it's a 90% chance that it's AE. When, AE decided to switch their socks up though, boy was I irritated. The new AE socks and pretty much any other sock I've put on my foot are terrible. You know immediately it's the type of sock when you step on a tile floor and almost fall right on your face. All I wanted was a dang sock that was mostly cotton, wouldn't be slippery on smooth floors, and keep my feet dry. Enter: These socks by Champion. Exactly what I wanted. A little thicker than the older AE socks but they are of similar material, are not slippery on our tile floor, and keep my feet dry (even while wearing my work boots for 16 hour shifts)(yes, I wear ankle socks with my work boots). The thickness doesn't bother me and may even keep these socks from wearing out as fast. I love them, so much so, that I bought 4 more packs after my first pack.

Too tight, feel like compression socks
These socks are well made and thick. However by the end of the day it feels like my toes have been squeezed together all day. Just not comfortable for me. I wear a 10.5 EE and like room to spread my toes out and be able to stretch them and I just don't have that with these.I have had these socks for a long time and they are still too tight after maybe 6 months of weekly wear and washing. So if you don't mind tight socks then by all means buy these. They will hold their shape and not stretch out for a long time.Sorry they are just not for me.

Holes after 4 wears
Very disappointed with these socks and their quality. I purchased one pack of these and loved the fit and comfort of them. After two wears they looked like they would hold up great so I ordered 4 more packs. After 2 more wears of the first pack they started to get holes in the toes and heels and tear apart. Would not recommend buying these socks because they will not hold up.

Comfortable, but too thick, and hot...
I wear them for running and go to gym, wearing my usual running or training shoes. These socks seem to me too thick. The make and fabricate is good, and seems durable. But when have those socks on, I feel my feet squeezed in my shoes, especially the toe and fore-foot area. I am not very happy with it and I think have these socks on I may want to order a new pair of shoes with half-size up.And obviously another result brought is hot. I don't want to exaggerate but during running my feet really felt hot, if not "burning".Maybe I am not using them as their intended purpose? Or it should only be use in Winter or what? I don't know...

The only socks I'll wear, but strange sizing issue
I used to buy these socks at Costco when it was 6 pair for $10. Unfortunately, Costco stopped carrying them and replaced them with a lame Adidas sock. The price on Amazon is roughly the same when you factor in gas and sales tax. So I was excited to see them here.I like these socks for 3 reasons, but the main one is the same reason I will only wear Champion no-show socks and won't touch other brands.- 1. All other brands of no-show socks fall down my ankles and end up halfway on my foot. I don't know why this happens, but it does with every single brand I've ever tried, even the expensive performance socks. I have normal shaped ankles, so it's really a phenomenon that I don't see other people complaining about the same problem. These Champion socks sit slightly higher on the foot, just barely above the ankle ball bone. Because of this, I have never had a pair of Champion socks slip off.- 2. These socks are freaking durable. I purchased several packs of these at Costco almost 5 years ago and they are still holding together today. The only reason I need to buy more is because I keep losing socks when I go on vacation, and I'll tell you it is a bummer to lose a single pair of these.- 3. Black, plain, socks. They still look as new and clean as the day I bought them. Because they are black they don't stain, although they have slightly faded over the years.---Packaging Issue---I just received the pair from Amazon and ran into a strange problem. Out of the 6 pairs of socks included, 2 pairs (4 socks) are a different size. They are too small to fit on my foot! The other 4 pair in the pack fit perfectly, just like the ones I used to buy at Costco. Getting this sorted out.

Actually Fit A Size 12 Foot...
On my size 12D foot they come up over the heel just above the heel counter - This is great as it prevents the sock from rolling down off the heel - For most shoes these are not no show socks - But they are the minimal amount of show that can be had for a sock that stays on - They last well for being a mixed cotton sock and have enough polyester in them to hold their color after multiple washings...I have to wear thin expensive compression over the calf socks and I put a pair of these socks over them - This allows me more cushioning and ventilation over the foot as well as protecting the compression socks...I am not sure how well this sock would fit a larger than 12.5 D shoe size...

Too thick!
Goodquality socks but too thick. You can't tell it from the picture. They feel like 2 or 3 pairs put together. Beware if you going to wear them with tight shoes! And as one already said here, these are not "not show" but low cut socks.

Size different from what is mentioned in Packaging
I ordered 6 pairs of Black and 6 pairs of white socks of size 12-14. The black one fits me perfectly. However the white one of the same size is too large for my feet. Now I don't know if I can ask them to ship another set because I am not sure how many packs of those are wrongly labelled for size. I am sending the items back to Amazon since I bought it from them. I need to pack it and take it to a UPS store and drop it else they are going to charge me for pickup. Too much trouble to go through. I am going to buy one of the big brand names so that this doesn't happen again.
