Handy for charging your device while using external peripherals and storage. I know it's suggested as a thing for Apple laptops, but I bought it for use with an Android mobile phone.The phone matters. My Sony Xperia XA1 couldn't use peripherals and be charged at the same time; you have to choose which it will do when you connect it. That said, my similarly specced but slightly more recent Sony Xperia L3 can make full use of this, so I can power the phone and an external hard drive while using a USB keyboard and mouse, which is pretty much exactly what I wanted.

I use the hub for both DAC on Sony Walkman with my phone and charging the devices at the same time. Seems not working on my old Huawei P9 as it has an earphone plug. The phone cannot have both data tranfer out and charge in. However, when I tried my main phone (Huawei Mate 10 Pro) which doesn't have earphone plug so the USB out to DAC and Type-C cable charge input is working very well. It is probably caused by Android system as well. Nice product but only working on part of the device so I have to give one star down.

works great on my laptop usb c port. but i mainly bought this for my p20 pro. does not work on my phone. main reason i bought it. so i tried it on my laptop. works fine. you can plug everything into it. also i use usb-c headphones so plugging them into the port works great. also the volume control works on them too. i put this on my older p20 lite phone and it does support multiple devices on the phone and also charges same time. so thats nice. but sad its not working on my p20 pro.

No good for powering anything .1A - .2A ouput, my tablet needs 2A and my phone !.3A so wasted my money.If you just want to use a wireless keyboard/mouse or access memory cards this would do the job but it is meant to do so much more. Charge port is waste of space.

Worked instantly when I plugged in USB-C to my Macbook. Works great, Looks great!

The product worked for about 3 weeks then broke. Very dissapointed. Can still charge through it but not load any memory sticks etc.

I had my S8 phone using....* a keyboard, mouse, and 1 USB thumb drive.I love this device and HIGHLY recommend it.
