Hunter Women's Original Short Rain Boots

I wore these boots entirely throughout weeks in the Alaskan wilderness. Knowing Hunter boots to be more of a “fashion/fancy” boot, I was a bit worried about how they would hold up. I am very glad to say that they held up flawlessly. These boots were taken up and down mountains, along rocky shores, treading through seaweed/seashell-covered tides, through calf-deep mud, through forests, climbed boulders, gripped well along algae-covered rocks, jumped along roots, and hiked what seems like endless miles of some of the roughest terrain I’ve been on, and not only did my feet stay completely dry, but they were the epitome of comfort! 2 others in my group were also wearing Hunter boots and I can say the exact same for them as well. We all had great success putting our Hunter boots through the ultimate test. I wore mine with the Hunter luxury shearling insoles along with a pair of merino wool socks, and the combination was astounding. My feet were always comfortable, dry, never hot, never cold, never achey, with this combination in my boot. I am normally a size 7.5, I sized up to an 8 so that I could have room with the shearling insole and wool socks and it was a perfectly comfortable fit in combination. All this said.. they also looked amazing with our hiking clothes. The height of the boot was perfect for staying comfortable in every situation. In every way, I recommend these boots!!

March 18, 2020: My boots came in! I wear a size 9 wide in women. I have calves that are 16-17 inch. depending if they are flexed or not. I bought the size 10, after hours researching different product reviews online. I wanted to wear socks so I thought the 10 would have space. It worked ! I put them on without socks and my foot had lots of space. With the socks my toes still have space but still fit fine. I have semi flat feet and my foot felt cushioned too. It was a little snug at the calf when standing but I could still tuck in my pants so they would not get wet. I walked outside in the rain, and inside a commercial building and had good traction. My feet were warm. The boots were comfortble. I had to sit down to remove them using both hands. But the yellow is beautiful and bold. I love this boot!

Bought these because they were a great deal! They are sturdy and comfy. I wear an 8 and the 8 was too big with inserts and thick socks they are perfect. Navy color looks black. I thought the length would be odd but I like it. Keeps feet and calves warm.

These are excellent rubber rain/waterproof boots. I have to walk dogs in all weathers, and with these I can go right through mud, damp, and deep puddles with no problem. They're lightweight for rubber boots, compared to other brands I've tried, and they're great for walking in right out of the box. I didn't have to break them in at all. However, they do run a bit large, at least for me. I ordered my regular size, and I had to put in an insole to make them fit better. But with the insole, they're the best fitting rubber boots I've had. Highly recommended.

Love them. We are building a horse barn and they’re perfect for walking on dirt and mud during construction. I anticipate them being perfect for when I am cleaning out stalls and washing horses in the wash bay when the barn is finished.
