Bel Decal Waterslide Inkjet Paper Clear 5 Sheets per package

This waterslide paper works very well. I'm using a Canon inkjet printer and it printing is very good! I need to be careful with the images since thin lines and light colors don't show up well on the clear; I ended up buying a pack of white paper from the same manufacture that also works very well. I've used this on glass with excellent results; while I should have used a clear coat to protect it, I didn't... and half a year later, it still looks fantastic. I've also used this on lexan plastic (remote control car bodies) and it has held up very well. Great product!

Works exactly as advertised. Comes with very clear instructions for those who may have not worked with waterslide decals before. I use it on sealed wood and it was clear and bubble-free. Would use if again for other projects.

This is alright for general purpose use but it's thickness makes it not the best choice for scale modelers. I'd recommend HobbyCal paper instead.

Performs well. You'll need to apply a clear coat to protect the ink while it's being submerged and handled. I use an aerosol spray lacquer. Spray your clear coat before you cut the decal out, since the lacquer will seal the edge and prevent it from sliding off of the backing if you don't. Slides off of the backing easily. I lay down a film of water, so it's able to slide around a little until I have it where I want it. I can then blot out the excess water with a paper towel. I'm using it to make headstock logos for guitars, and I'll mention that it IS noticeable, with a bit of a tint, on unfinished wood- specifically maple. I've found that putting down a clear coat first will minimize this, and should be done anyway. I can then apply more clear, and the decal blends in well. On any other surface, I'm sure that it'll perform beautifully, provided that it gets a clear coat to minimize the edge of the decal, and to protect it. too. Well worth the price.

Not what I was looking for.

The paper works great! The instructions have a lot of typos, but are still easy to follow, and I had no trouble using the paper for a really fun project.

I purchased these decals to use on a headstock of a guitar. They printed out very nice. I coated them with a few light coats of craft lacquer. I found when using them on a guitar to only let them sit in the water for about 5-6 seconds. Take them out then give a time for the water on the paper to loosen them. If you let them soak too long then the adhesive gets diluted and you wind up with a cloudy look when applied.

Easy to use. Works as described. Would buy again.
