CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM | 3 Ounce | Ultra Lightweight, Night Face Moisturizer | Fragrance Free

Usually, with skin care products, you get what you pay for and having used products that cost around $100+ per oz. for the past few years, my standards are very high. Plus I’ve been having some bad luck with finding a cheap but adequate replacement moisturizer. As such I didn’t exactly have high hopes for something priced so cheap.Going by feel alone, this is an acceptable lightweight moisturizer. No, it’s not the lightest I’ve used but it absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. With some self-proclaimed lightweight moisturizers you can get the feeling that something is on your skin even hours after application (especially when you tense your cheeks). With this, that sensation is minimal to nonexistent depending on how much I use. More important than that though is the hyaluronic acid. I’m not going to get into a long winded explanation about what it is and what it does, but VERY basically, think of it as a sponge that holds onto moisture. And NO, it is NOT the type of acid that will burn you. I see that in reviews and roll my eyes.I usually apply this over a serum twice per day, once in the morning and again at night before bed, each time after cleaning my face. As for the removal, it comes off quick and easy without your skin getting super slick the instant it gets wet. When using just micellar water and a cotton round to clean my face, only one side of the round is needed to remove it all.Oil free and fragrance free, you shouldn’t have to worry about clogged pores or skin irritation. I see that there are a few reviews claiming that it made people have a breakout which is possible as it is not hypoallergenic but I have not experienced anything like that.While I may continue to try others, this is a product that I would buy again.

I love a good face moisturizer and love trying different brands, but ALWAYS end up coming back to this product. This didn’t break me out, made me feel greasy and made my skin feel so smooth in the morning. I would recommend this brand, if you are looking for a moisturizer with a decent price. I own $150 moisturizer and this is hands down better than high priced brands.

This is the holy grail. This is THE STUFF. I'm in my late 20's and I was diagnosed with "pre-rosacea" - a mild redness to my cheeks and jawline, but none of the other symptoms such as acne. My skin looked and felt chronically dry to the point of itching no matter what I used. My skin was like, perpetually chapped. I tried everything: dandruff shampoo (for the selenium), zinc/sulphur soap (anti-bacterial), sea buckthorn oil, primrose oil, hemp oil, maracuja oil (anti-inflammatory), and azelaic acid (finacea). Nothing worked and if anything they all just exacerbated the problem.Enter niacinamide aka B3 aka the miracle ingredient that not only has anti-aging properties but, as it turns out, the ability to "address skin discolorations". Yeeeeah, you can side-eye that description if you want, I too am tired of reading about how blahblah ingredient calms redness or is an anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory for me=run for the hills because you're about to get a big old dose of RED) But no, niacinamide has bigger plans than that. It is a 'cell communicating' ingredient that basically tells your well-meaning but crappier skin cells "hey, wake up and behave like you care a little". You know how when you first wake up your skin is clear and beautiful and ohmygod I-am-having-the-best-skin day ever, til you actually stand up and start moving around and then BAM it's like you ran hot water on your face except it never goes away? This product actually somehow maintains that morning skin for me, all the time. Additionally the texture has improved and it finally feels hydrated. So yeah, I recommend this product.I plan on adding vit C to my routine soon (for anti-aging) which could go either way with my skin. I have high hopes. I'll update here for any other rosaceans who are determined to find an anti-aging solution!

This broke me out so badly! Every morning I woke up with new whiteheads! How is this labeled “non pore clogging” when it obviously clogs pores to an extent where I started getting whiteheads? If you’re using this product and experiencing little whiteheads don’t ignore! It’s not your hormones! it’s this lotion!

Read a lot of good reviews about this product, so I decided to give it a try. I have a combination and sensitive skin that also have occasional acnes and redness. This stuff break me out in the first day of application. It gave me small bumps around my cheek.

Update 9/15/18: I'm very happy with the new formulation. No breakouts. Moist skin. A little goes a long way and lasts a long time. It took a while to get my courage up to try it on my oily forehead, but I've been doing so now for several months and it actually keeps my forehead less oily for much longer!Original review: Well, I tried this new formulation, Yes, the ingredients are the same although listed in a different order (I don't think cosmetics have to list ingredients by weight the same way that food does, though, so I don't know if this change is significant). The lotion seems more watery to me and I'm not sure if it's quite as moisturizing. But I'm happy that it hasn't made my skin break out so I'll keep using it for the time being.

Just for reference, I have fair, dry/combination skin. I bought this product after seeing a recommendation on Reddit's Skincare Addiction forum.I love this moisturizer! It's lightweight, non-greasy, and soaks right into my skin. I use it every night after my skin routine of CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (another great product), Mizon AHA 8% peel, and CeraVe Skin Renewing Serum. These products aren't particularly heavy-duty, but they have worked wonders on my dry combination skin.If I could have only two skincare products, it would be my CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and this CeraVe PM moisturizer.I think this moisturizer would work well for any skin type, unless your skin is extremely sensitive. I just ordered my second bottle because I can't live without it!

I am battling oily, acne prone skin and wrinkles. To combat both the acne and wrinkles, I use a retinoid product which has a tendency to dry my skin out if I get a bit overzealous applying it. This moisturizer has largely eliminated that issue. I love that it's fragrance-free and it also has Niacinamide as its 4th ingredient! Niacinamide helps improve collagen production and skin elasticity and also fades hyper-pigmentation marks left by blemishes. I'm very pleased to have found a moisturizer that keeps my skin feeling so soft and supple and also provides a myriad of skin enhancing benefits! I highly recommend this to anyone really. Just give it a shot, I doubt you'll regret it!NOTE: Unfortunately the Normal to Dry version of this lotion is not available in stores in Canada for some reason. I do not like the Normal to Oily variant, so I am forced to purchase this online. I really hope they introduce the normal to dry version to Canada sometime soon for convenience's sake!

I had high hopes for this cream as it is highly touted in the skincare/makeup community. I bought it to clear up my uneven skin, however it made my skin even more textured and bumpy. I use a variety of products so I decided to test this product alone on my forehead, which was mostly smooth. On ONE application, the texture became irregular and bumpy overnight! Maybe I'm allergic to something in this cream, but at this price, it does pinch a bit to just not use it anymore. If only there was a way to try this without committing.

I've tried so many different moisturizers over the past year . . . Korean, Japanese, Italian, Canadian, American, Russian . . . and this is finally the one that does NOT BREAK ME OUT. I repeat: IT DOES NOT MAKE ME BREAK OUT. As a teenage girl going through the unfortunate "awkward" stage, and having to use Differin for my acne, this product combats both the dryness and the irritation on my skin without clogging my pores. Using this has greatly reduced the dry patches that form around my pimples while using the Retinoid (Differin). I'm also prone to getting eczema on my face, and this product hasn't messed with that also. So I give it a solid 5/5. Thanks CeraVe for finally making a good moisturizer!!!

After trying many brands of cleansers, moisturizers and other skin care products, I stopped putting nasty chemicals on my face and just stuck with a simple skincare routine of using CeraVe cleanser followed by this moisturizing lotion at nights. I settled on CeraVe because it was highly recommended in Reddit's skincare community called r/skincareaddiction (ladies check it out if you haven't). My face has never been clearer. I also use the lotion in the morning before applying my sunscreen. I have nothing bad to say about this product at all except Amazon sells it at a higher price than local retail stores.

Love this cream! The formula is a cross between lotion and gel. Very hydrating but doesn’t leave skin oily or sticky. I also bought the AM version of this face cream(which is also good) but has more of a sunscreen texture and is 30 spf but honestly most days I use this PM cream in the morning under my makeup. Sometimes I even use both before makeup application. They absorb into skin quickly. This cream is also very natural and great for the skin. The only negative is that it contains parabens

Truly wonderful product .It just seeps in to the skin without feeling greasy but the skin feels hydrated but whether the product works as the company claims can only be said after using it for 3-4 weeks . And the seller was very prompt as the product came before time, but my only grouse is nowhere the manufacturing date is mentioned .

I was diagnosed with eczema about a year ago and the product was introduced by the dermatologist. I couldn’t find any in stock at the store therefore I had to purchase it online. However, the product along doesn’t help me to claim my eczema but it did made it feel better. I now used only this on my face because it’s the product that my really sensitive face will accept.

This is a top notch moisturizer without the department store price. It works on dry to even acne prone oily. It contains niacin, ceramides, hyaluronic acid and anti-oxidents. These are essential ingredients for achieving healthy, protected skin. For a low price, you get department store quality benefits. It is truly recommend!

When I received this it was not in good condition, the lotion had spread all in cartoon box and the seal were opened.

This came in a very small bottle. It is not a very good moisturizer and I went back to my original moisturizer which is much more rich and works better.

I bought this after hearing so many great reviews about CeraVe moisturizer. I find that sometimes this moisturizer can be a little harsh for my skin, especially when I have any sensitive spots or sores. However, overall, it's a really great light-weight moisturizer and it definitely hasn't broken me out.

This facial moisturizer works well for me. I have an asian skin. I live in one of the coldest provinces of Canada (Manitoba). My face always stays moisturized despite the humid and harsh weather (extremely cold during winter and extremely hot during summer). I've tried other facial moisturizers (like Aveeno, Cetaphyl,etc.) and by far this is the best.

Originally I used a different moisturizer in this brand. Switching to this one did not cause any breakouts! Only need one small pump for whole face and it dries fast.

Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin which is great but I don't find it nearly hydrating enough. I have to put it on twice so I wouldnt consider it a "normal to dry skin" cream, personally.

Since I m on tretnoin , thought this would be great option as an moisturizer but this stings my face. Not repurchasing it.
