Well my 5 year old Windows phone (Lumia 820) needed finally replacing when I broke the screen (£15 replacement from Ebay in mean time) and started looking for something Android. Wanted something on lower end of phone price range, as I am not a massive phone user and don't fancy walking around with a £1000 phone in my pocket.On recommendation of a work colleague and after much research (checking out UmiDigi as well, never heard of them until now) I finally went for the UmiDigi One Pro. Getting it via Amazon rather than getting from China direct is another bonus, as no unexpected import bills etc and if there is any issues with the phone I am sure Amazon customer service would/can be very helpful getting things sorted.What a fantastic value for money phone. Features I like are:- Fast screen, fast response, games play fine, unlike many cheap Android (landfill) phones.- Latest Android version 8.1. I have had two Android firmware updates since purchasing in end of October.- Comes fitted with a silicone bumper case. Nice touch.- Supplied with screen protector, no more faffing around trying to get bubble free screen protector fitted.- Wireless charging. Works fine with my old Windows phone wireless charging pad. Wireless charging works also though the leather case I bought. Put phone on pad. Done.- SD card slot, I have a 64GB Sandisk card from my old phone in.- 3.5mm headphone socket, so can use my existing headphones straight off.- Battery seems to last about 2 days, BUT make sure you exit any mapping apps (and others) when finished (Geocaching, Munzee, Google Maps etc) as they do appear to consume quite a bit of power. Gaming also saps power. Never had battery below 10% yet.- Seems to charge suitably fast by the supplied quick charger. Not sure how long as when I have returned phone is always charged 100% and I tend to use the far more convenient wireless charging overnight.Things that are mediocre (not a fault of UmiDigi).- Google mail is cr*p compared to the Windows phone mail (Outlook ?). Outlook.com for Android is better but still lacking.- Google calendar is cr*p compared to Windows phone calendar (Outlook ?). Outlook.com for Android is better but still lacking.- Android and its "windows 3.1" style of icons is so "Windows 3.1". So retro 1992. Has nothing changed since then. Luckily there is an App for that, Launcher 10 that brings back the much more ergonomic and easy to use Windows Phone 10 live tiles, no more notifications needed, just activity & numbers in the tiles. Fantastic.- Shame the leather flip case I put the phone in hides the gorgeous carbon fibre case.- Camera is "acceptable". Pictures look OK to me. Has only basic Android camera app, which works OK. There are numerous third party camera apps that could be used.On the down side, as supplied, I was having signal strength issues. I could not phone from inside my work or my kitchen at home, poor signal I suspect and calls failed going out and no incoming calls. Other phones using the same SIM worked fine at these locations. Go outside at work and home and phone worked fine. I was seriously considering returning the phone to Amazon, as I spend a lot at time at work (and in kitchen) and non working calls is an issue. However after having the phone about a week I got an automatic firmware update and phone is now fine. Makes & takes calls 100% from all the places where I was having signal strength issues. Well done UmiDigi.I would have only given it 4 stars for easy to use, this not being UmiDigi's fault, but the Android user interface, as I pointed out is so "1992". There were many many better easier to use phone front ends (and millions of $ developing them), but unfortunately they are now history.In the end I have changed my mind and given it 5 stars, well done UmiDigi what fantastic value phone. All my family use OnePlus phones, costing many times my UmiDigi, but I don't care, mine cost a lot less and in my opinion is equally as good.So in summary, if you are looking for a competent, well designed, good looking, fitted with standard Android 8.1 (with no manufacturers bundled cr*pware) I would highly recommend the UmiDigi One Pro.

It was a great phone with everything you can wish for... Until it started crashing and restarting by itself. First some apps were not responding and I thought there was something with the apps or the network connection, but then the phone screen would freeze and you have to restart it, or it would just restart by itself. I bought it in the end of January, it's a brand new device. Not sure if the lifetime of these phones is just that long, which is very disappointing. A friend of mine was laughing at me that I paid so 'much' for the phone with a problem, while she paid half as much for a new known brand phone which works perfectly for years.

Very good little phone , great value for money , it feels like a much more expensive phone to hold and feel it , is very similar in size wieght and looks to one of the new iPhone 10 obviously it's not as good but then it is a fraction of the price . The finish and quality of this is amazing for the price . We bought one for a close friend after some research to much their requirements, that was the carbon one , and was do impressed that a couple of weeks later when my daughter broke her old phone I pruchased a second one for this time in the twilight finish . Also purchased the UMi wireless charger at the same time as there was a deal if you got them together .. charger s phone works great together .I have used this make for a while now after purchasing an S2 when it was first released because I needed the big battery life , and pre-ordered the Z2 pro ceramic editon when it was released last year. The Z2 pro has been very reliable and not let me down once . . Although it's not a well known brand here in the UK have found them to be reliable and good value for money .

I am a big fan of umidigi and this is one of there most recent releases. I've had several umidigi phone now and I've just upgraded again to this Umidigi One Pro. A respectable 64gb storage and 4gb ram is more than a enough to provide you with multi tasking and game play. This features the top notch like the iPhone and a nice bright crisp clear screen.I opted for the carbon fibre model but after taking this out of the box my other half straight away was looking at it and when I mentioned they have a twilight version she looked impressed, this coming from a long serving iPhone user. In the box is a good quality black protective case and the phone comes with a screen protector already installed so if your like me and struggle with the air bubble its already done. You can buy a wireless charger to go with this so no need for cables.with android you can also automatically transfer all data apps across so no need to spend half you day trying to figure out what you set your passwords to and within 10 mins of turning the phone its was all setup ready to go. Overall its a 5* phone , good spec and good price point.You wouldn't be disappointed with this phone.

This is a great phone. Looks good is very fast for the price paid. Nfc works great, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. Battery life is good. My son has an IPhone 6s Plus, he reckons the Umidigi is faster and better display. Also having 64gb is a bonus, all for £150.Unfortunately after approx 5weeks of flawless performance, it started randomly restarting, I did a reset, but it was unable to complete this and kept freezing and restarting.Returned for refund!
