Update: After about 2 weeks, the rubber on top that covers the toe started to separate from the neoprene. At one point on the inner side, there is a boot stress point that becomes evident as it flexes in movement. I returned the boot to Amazon for a replacement. The new boot appears to have less neoprene material in the boot stress point area providing a more snug fit and less flexing. I hope this keeps the rubber from separating from the neoprene. The first boot may have just not been glued correctly. I was looking for a minimalist shoe that wasn't extremely expensive, poorly designed or low quality. That has been my experience to date with this niche. I use this boot daily for trail walking on mixed dirt, gravel and brick trail sections. I also use it for practicing Tai-Chi and martial arts. Even though this is a cheap Chinese manufactured product, the quality of this boot can't be emphasized enough. I would put it in league with my very expensive Italian footwear. These boots are so comfortable on my feet. I had a pair of Teva water shoes before that were cumbersome to put on, bound my ankles and the rubber sole cracked. The design of this boot does not bind your ankle yet you will never have to worry about the zippered over the ankle neoprene slipping off. The neoprene gently hugs your ankle and leg. The rubber sole covers all the areas it needs to and is extremely flexible. The areas that frequently come in contact with objects above the ribbed rubber sole are covered with a tough rubber that works well. The sole rubber is very sticky. The sole is thick enough to ensure medium sized gravel will not hurt your feet. Larger size rocks will of course make themselves known since the rubber is very flexible. These boots are incredibly easy to clean. I just spray them off outside whenever I return home--mud gone and my feet are dry. I then use them inside for my exercises like stretching, yoga and Tai-Chi. I really don't want to ever take them off. The zipper allows for easy on and off. The zipper is very large and heavy duty. It will not auto unzip with heavy use.I want to add to the sizing info. My foot size is 10.5 U.S. I read in a review that the boot size 10 is a "snug" fit for a 10.5 foot. That is accurate. However, you cannot walk in the size 10 without binding your toes and impeding a smooth gait. You can get them on but you will not have enough room to comfortably cover any distance in them. Boot size 11 is a little less snug about the middle of the foot but the heel and toe are just the right fit to allow proper use of the boot. You can wear an average sock inside the 11 shoe size with a 10.5 foot. If you are a foot size 10, the 11 shoe size would be too big. Boot size 10 shoe would fit perfectly without a sock on a size 10 foot.

My son swims in the Gulf of Mexico nearly year-round with his wetsuit, previously without boots or gloves. This February I decided to get some of these boots for a trip. He loves them. They were so reasonably priced I wasn't sure if they would not be well-made. They definitely extended the time he spends in the water, and protects from shells and debris, the bottoms are very thick, grippy, and sturdy. This was our experience, so everyone should be careful, but at one moment he lifted his leg out of the water and there was a jellyfish around his ankle and foot, encased in his wetsuit and these boots. No stings. His pair was a little too snug, so I plan on buying a size larger than his usual shoe size.

Got these from my husband for a Christmas gift and he absolutely love them. He's a whitewater kayak her I need something sturdy and these fit him in his words "like a glove" he said they're really comfortable, flexible and not too big not too small they fit perfectly. He's very happy with them the seams in the siding don't have any issues there's no tears there's no separation from robber and the material. All in all great purchase. Will buy again if you needed the hopefully not are too long LOL

Well like I always say to start off with. This isn’t a complete review since I’ve to used them yet. This is just a review on fit and first impressions. Right. Well I typically wear a size twelve on average.y fett measure 11” and a size twelve typically leaves me with a half inch of room in the toe box. I don’t believe this is what you want in a dive bootie since it’s so flexible. These size 12 booties measure 11.25” in the foot bed with I think makes them perfect for walking and diving. In the pictures you can see I’ve fitted them with the Cressi Pro-Lite fins size M/L. You can read my review on the fins too under the page they are sold through with Cressi. Back to the booties. The light is perfect for me like I said and the width is likewise perfect as they seem to be made in a medium to just under medium width. I do still have room on the outer portion of my toes so I’m sure if you have medium to just a bit more than medium width you might be fine. These likely won’t work for you if you feet are wide-bodies. I do like the extra protection provided to the top of the foot. I think this will prove to help them last a long time with fin use. None of the seem work inside of the boot is noticeable as they all look and feel flat sewn. The gore, the flap behind the zipper isn’t flat sewn but it folds over to cover the seem so it is not an issue. The gore isn’t the same mm as the rest of the boot but once it’s doubled over it seems to be about the same so that shouldn’t be much of an issue either. The zipper is a nice YKK zipper will probably outlast the bootie if kept up with. The sole is a grippy texture with a lateral pattern perpendicular to the foot bed. Since we are nearing the bottom here let’s wrap it up with why this bootie isn’t and that is a boot. It doesn’t have any support for walking like a boot would. Your feet will be protected from abrasions, cuts and heat getting to the water but it’s not going to offer major support of you would like that. Our feet will conform to what ever you are walking on. If your an outdoors type of person though this bootie should be perfect. If your not then stay at the marina. I’ll update as to the short term use of the bootie in a couple of months.

I like two great features: the breathable material which allows water to pass through and the zipper to allow the boots to be removed with relative ease. This is great for the feet as they don’t smell bad after a sea outing.
