JBL LSR308 Studio Monitors with Cables and Stands Bundle

I recently got these speakers to use in an office/bedroom. My son, an even more dedicated stereophile than me, had me listen to his and got me hooked. They are individually amplified speakers so I set them up thru the preamp out of an old B&K multichannel receiver. They were very clear and precise when I first tested them. However, they seemed a little thin on bass. Then, with the advice of my son, I checked my receivers speaker settings which still had a 5-channel home theater setting! Once, I turned off the sub-out, went from five to two speakers and small to large speakers, they really came alive! Beautiful and large sweet spot for listening, and I won't need a subwoofer after all. I am very pleased with my purchase. Also the cables an speaker stands supplied work great.

All the info. you need about LSR308 in other comments. Was pleasantly surprised by, quality, fit and finish of stands (jamstands). And 20ft. XLR cables (pig hog). Included in bundle.I used 1in. ratchet straps to secure speakers to stands.Been rockin for 120hrs.continuously and have had no problems.Sweet spot soundstage is very good but will also fill room well.

these speakers are awesome. had a problem with one of the speakers and seller took care of it and replaced it fast.

The stands are a little week but overall good..
