SlimFast Vitality Raspberry Crush Powder, 400 g

Well a great taste and lots to like with the thick consistency. It has chromium and other bits that are supposed to bring benefit. Two negative points. First the bag - not easy to get the stuff out especially near the end. Next it is relatively expensive. Regular tins about £5 for 12 servings and this about £12 for 10 so more than double the price. It does taste like yummy thick milkshake so maybe on balance worth the price. If you like the idea of the added green tea and chromium and can’t be bothered eating 45 bananas each day to get your chromium rda and don’t care about the price (still only about a pound or so for a meal) well worth buying. Best not to exceed the three level spoons (so don’t just pour all the rest of the contents of the bag into the glass at the end)

Very tasty product

I usually have the chocolate Slimfast vitality shake, but thought I would try a different version. This raspberry one is tasty. It sort of reminds me of blancmange! It’s thick and creamy when mixed with a blender and ice (the best way to make any of the Slimfast shakes!) although I find it does have a slightly twang of an aftertaste - must be the green tea in it - but that’s why I’ve marked only 4*.

So tasty and thick they really fill you up. With some fruit (because I like to feel like I’ve eaten at lunchtime), they have really helped my diet without leaving me hungry all afternoon.

Probability not a good idea to have this instead of the milk sake with a Big Mac meal.

This product is ok. The pros are that it is packed with good vitamins etc and the taste is ok. The cons, it is relatively expensive compared to the other slimfast shakes, also it has bits in which I did not like (I use a blender to mix my shake so it isn't the mixing). Personally I prefer the taste of the other slimfast shakes and I will probably buy the others from now on.

I use this as an alternative to protein post work out - plenty of flavour and easy to mix
