Fluorescent Pink Dye – Colored Dye for Epoxy Resin, Arts & Crafts, Woodworking, Countertops, and Other DIY Projects! Color Pigment Dye Creates Beautiful Results Fast! (Alumilite)

This is a great opaque dye. It doesnt take much to make epoxy pitch black. I used a bottle to mix a 5 gallon bucket of epoxy. I'm positive I could have used less and still have the same results. Just make sure you cut the tip down far enough for dye to come out.This black dye is very forgiving. I would definitely buy again. Did not change my epoxy set either.

The dye works well. It is very concentrated and can be used to make epoxy tables from shades of a dark tint all the way to pitch black. The problem is in the consistency of the dye. It is VERY thick. It requires a lot of force to squeeze out drops. While I was working with the dye, I was squeezing out 7 drops for my project. The nozzle on the dropper shot off and dumped the entire contents of the product into my epoxy. Ruining the project and now I have no dye.It worked well for the few drops I tested.

If you need a good solid rich black dye for your resin then this is your dye. I gave it 4 stars because it is impossible to open! I ended up just snipping the top off, only thing is once I did that I could no longer close the bottle. Plus I made the hole too big and made a huge mess every time I went to use it. Finally after 3 months I went ahead and bought some tiny little bottles to to put the dye in.Important side note - a little goes a long way. This stuff is super thick and I have messed up a couple resin projects putting too much dye into the resin.

Used a tiny drop in 1/4 cup of deep pour epoxy for a project I was doing and poured the rest into a silicone mold to test with. It's a nice color and worked just the way I wanted it to in my pour (unfinished second photo). Even with the tiny drop I feel like I put too much in. As a bonus it cleaned easily off my hands with just soap and water and didn't stain my hands permanently.

I was a bit skeptical at first, then I had to have the entire set of colors!! In this project, I use the same Alumilite dye (ocean blue) alone and then with two different colored micas and the results were stunning! (photo attached)A little drop can go a long way. high-quality pigment and I recommend this product if you work with Resin or Abstract Art. If you are looking for that perfect ocean wave effect these dyes are a must-have.

I was really happy to receive this product, I have not use it but to say the least I got a full bottle as oppose to the other ones they were a little bit over the half way point of product.

I saw this one YouTube and decided to try it and WOW does it hold up to all the hype. If you want to make your resin look like water from the ocean, this stuff will do it!

Used it to make clear parts blue for my Star Trek model. Worked well. But be careful! A little bit goes a long way. A small drop for a small batch is enough.

Great pigment. However the hole its suppose to come out in a pin hole on one end. kinda frustrating but easily fixed with a small awl and some patience though. I looked into it and this is apparently a fairly common problem but not every bottle is an issue.

Love the product but took a little long to get here
