Coghlan's Tarp Clips, Black , 3/8"

Ok, but limited grip thickness.I have older Keeper.com grippers that are NLA, so tried these. Keeper are three piece, two sides and a sliding collar to tighten it. These are two piece. One side with the molded opening, and another loose wedge that goes through it. Not real strong gripping teeth, but works ok. The downside is limited opening between the ‘jaws’ with the wedge barely pushed into it. It slips over a single layer and hem of the chinese tarps, but if folded to three layers It is hard to get over the edge.Overall, these work ok until I find something better, or watch for some source of the older Keeper onmes.

They're made of some nylon-like material and they take a bite and hold on for dear life. I use them for rigging my pvc movie screen material and they hold it with no problem. Much cheaper than the ones bought for that purpose and work the same way.

Works exactly as described. Pretty ingenious. There are YouTube videos if you can't wrap your head around how these things could possibly work so well. I wish I needed to clip more tarps, because these are diesel.

These were great in helping secure a canvas tarp covering a utility trailer at interstate speeds. On the canvas tarp these gripped tight with no way of them coming loose or slipping.

Nust as described. Holds on super tight to tarps, tents, etc. A good thing to have in your bug out bag.

I purchased these to hold a tarp down during our hight winds. They grip tight without tearing and have not let go yet.

We used these tarp clips extensively this past camping season. They're easy to use, grip tightly, don't damage the tarps, and are rugged.

These clips are the business and will grip onto any fabric or tarp securely and strongly.The mechanism is extremely simple: One side of the clip is a tapered wedge with gripping grooves at one end and a hole for paracord at the other, the other side is a sliding gripper that grips the tarpaulin when pulled taut. This means the clip can grip pretty much any fabric thick or thin, and do so very securely. It also means that smaller or weaker hands can tap the gripper from the other side to release the tarp when needed without requiring superman strength. This makes it great for young and old.The clips are made from extremely heavy duty plastic and are actually quite heavy to carry around. While I wouldn't want more than four of them in my emergency backpack, this does imply that they will probably outlast any tarp or bivvy.Mine were shipped from the USA, so it might take a little longer than the usual Amazon Prime speed for delivery, but they're well worth waiting for. A must for any go-bag, emergency backpack or anyone looking to do some impromptu camping or picknicking.
