Solid and Trustworthy
These are very solid and can be trusted to prevent your device from meeting and untimely end. They are well made and versatile. I use MANY of these on stage to hold iPads for sheet music. I have complete faith in them.

Great find for large tablet
This is very sturdy and well built. I use it for my 12.9" iPad pro. I'm not sure what others are talking about when it comes to durability - this thing is a tank. Many of my band mates have trashed tablets using cheaper mounts - this thing is very secure. I have one for my practice rig and one for my road rig. I have two minor issues that cost it a star. First, the Mic stand bracket needed a slight adjustment; the thumb screw that holds the Mic Stand bracket to the mount is threaded and tightened up in the bracket before tightening into the holder. I had to use a multi-bit to drill out some of the thread (on top) so that the holder could be tightened in any position. Secondly, it will not work with a case of any significance. If you want to protect your expensive tablet from road damage, you have to pick your case carefully. I would HIGHLY recommend a heavy duty tripod mic stand. Don't kill your tablet by going cheap on the stand!

Works for iPad Pro 12.9” in a thick case! Also works with iPhone 12 Pro Max!
This set comes with two sizes of v-clamps. The larger size works for my iPad Pro 12.9” in a thick case. The smaller size works with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. That makes this kind of a two-for one deal. The v-clamps are screwed onto a sliding track for adjustments. They won’t go too much closer, to hold a much smaller phone, but I would say they should at least be able to hold an iPhone 12 or 12 Pro as well. Of course it would hold a smaller iPad or Kindle or other e-reader.The clamp base fits on a standard 5/8”-27 screw, so it will be compatible with most microphone stands, if you want to screw it to the top, and this comes with a clamp that is very handy for mounting this to the leg of a tripod or microphone stand as well. This clamp holds my iPad securely to the point that I have no concerns about my iPad Pro randomly falling out of the clamp, but if I touch my iPad, it bounces around a little. This is partially due to the light tripod I have it mounted onto, but even when it’s mounted to my Manfrotto tripod, it still bounces. I think if it were made metal it weight be more stable; this is plastic. It does help to get the iPad as close to the center of gravity as possible. There is plenty of room to move the v-clamps along the track they’re attached to, so sliding them both up or down to center of the iPad is easy enough. And regardless, as long as I’m not touching the iPad or shaking the tripod, it’s stable. The clamp that attaches to the leg of a tripod is great too. It’s made of metal and is lined with rubber so it shouldn’t damage whatever you attach it to unless you hulk out and over-tighten it. The screw for it is very long. The clamp could probably fit around a pole with a 2.5” diameter. I can see many uses for it, even beyond its intended use.

Fits and holds my device.
Holds my tablet (iPad Pro, 12.9 inch) securely with contact points on each of the four sides. Another brand/model wasn’t large enough to fit; others only would grip the tablet on the two short sides, and not a strong grip, so in order to have the display in portrait mode, the tablet would slip down.

Good, solid holder
I use this on stage with a 12.9 inch iPad Pro, which has all of my music charts. I can clip the iPad into this holder without taking it out of the case, which is great. The universal joint tightens down well, so the tablet doesn't tip or droop during use. I was pleased to see how solid this holder is, because that iPad was flippin' expensive and I don't want anything to happen to it.The holder comes with a second, smaller set of arms in the box for use with small to medium sized tablets. It also includes a very heavy-duty adapter that allows you to attach it to the tube part of a mic stand. The threads on the holder itself screw directly onto a standard mic stand, which is how I use it.

Mostly functional
This tablet holder works, but it's very cumbersome and not easy to release the tablet. Previous holders I've used offered easy ability to remove and re-insert the tablet. With this holder, you have to completely unscrew one side or the the other in order to remove the tablet. Add to this that the pad cannot have a cover on it and you have a recipe for disaster.
