Growth Regulator, Quart

Got tired of having to cut the grass twice a week, so after a little research, I found this product which appears to contain a chemical that is used in other products as a growth inhibitor for lawns (although as far as I know inhibiting lawn growth is not a recommended use for Florel). I used it last year; the grass survived; and I was able to reduce my mowing to once per week. This year, I used the remainder of last year's supply (maybe a little less than what I used last year), and ordered more to use next spring. By the end of the week, the grass this year does look long and shaggy, but so far I've been able to limit mowing to once every seven days. The grass did appear somewhat stressed after the application, but that might have been the result of some early 90 degree weather, and it did come back strong and healthy after some rain and cooler temperatures. This was used on a very small lawn, part sun/part shade, consisting mostly of tall fescue.

I've treated my bromeliads and pineapples - only about 1% of the bromeliads are showing signs of flowering and about 20% of the pineapples.
