Carol Wright Gifts Elastic Food Covers

Im due to buy a new set of these since all my old ones are wore out from being used all the time!

Great for those foods & dishes you don't want an air tight seal on (cut up peppers, mushrooms, etc.). They are a sturdier plastic than what I was replacing. 3 good sizes, but would be nice to only buy the size you need instead of a bunch you may never use. Easy to wash by hand, dry with a towel and let air dry the rest of the way.

I bought these to cover some bowls they're very difficult to put around a bowl took me a few shots to hit the cover on one relatively small bowl. I wish they were a little bit bigger and they came in three different sizes but when you're buying them it's really hard to figure out both sizes. I would have liked the next three levels up in sizes. But they work for some of the smaller balls that I have. If you have small bowls then you're good to go with these but I wouldn't buy them again.I can't answer sturdy durability cleaning them yet cuz I just use one today for the first time.

Sometimes you need to cover a mixing bowl, or a plate of leftovers, and these are much easier to use than plastic wrap - and you can wash and re-use them. (I wouldn't use them to cover raw meat, though.)I like this set because it has four each of three different sizes, and because each size is a different color.I expect these to last me a good long while, because most of the time I use containers with lids. If you use these on a daily basis, expect the elastic to wear out and eventually even the plastic.

I like these, but I honestly thought they would be more differently ranging in size. It turns out they are relatively very similar in size to each other. The small one fits like a 4 in. Bowl, the medium fits a 6in. Bowl, and the big one fits a 8in. Bowl. Easy to clean, just run it under warm soapy water, slap the water off and let it finish drying on a cup or top of a wine bottle.

I have purchased two sets of these variously- sized covers so far--they are great for covering all sizes of plates and bowls. One can use them to cover and store both large and small containers holding both wet or dry foods in addition to other items like nails, paperclips , binder clips. Though I use them to store leftovers mostly in the fridge for only a couple of days, they can be washed with mild liquid soap and stretched to air dry after this use unless absorbed food odors dictate throwing them away.

This is not a NEW idea. My mother had these when I was a kid. No more searching all over for the right lid for the container. I don't like the clear ones other manufacturers make..I know which color fits which size container and when I go to the drawer to get one I don't have to sort thru a few to get the size I'm looking for.

I had a set of elastic food covers that I had been using for over 5 years, and finally the elastic was too stretched out so I ordered more. Unfortunately, I don't know who made the original set because they were fantastic. I used and washed them over and over again. With this brand, the first two I used ripped on the first use and were no longer usable. Of course this totally negates the purpose for purchasing something meant to be used many times to avoid using plastic wrap for single use.
