NOT FOR COELIACS
These are advertised as gluten free. The packets have gluten free on it. But the ungredients has wheat in it. I looked this up with Coeliac uk and they are not gluten free because they contain wheat gluten. So glad I spotted it before giving them to my son. He would have been very ill. I can't even eat them myself as I am allergic to cheese.

Delicious but wrong flavour sent!
Love these and ordered a box of cheese ones. Delivered quickly in a box marked cheese! Disappointed when I opened them to find it was a mixed box with chilli and salt & vinegar inside 🥺🤔

Nice texture but bland flavour
The cheese flavour has a similar consistency to a Wotsit, a nice crunchy crispy texture, but sadly barely any cheese flavour. It’s slightly more noticeable as you get to the end of the bag but otherwise very subtle. It’s not exactly a bad flavour, just a bit bland. Perfectly edible but hardly delicious. It’s good that they’re gluten free as I don’t eat gluten, but I wouldn’t buy these myself.

Looks like chicken pellets and most probably has the same taste
I was actually looking forward to "healthy" snacks and I do like black eyed peas. But these are reconstituted puffs, using Black Eyed Peas flour - not puffed up black eyed peas. They look so artificial it almost wants to make you cry. Well no, that may be extreme, for a snack. But thoroughly disappointing. Taste wise, they do taste a bit of mild cheddar, but are overall really tasteless. I just don't get it. Avoid and stop snacking or at least not with these.

Tasty little morsels but not terribly filling. Pleasant snack though.

Healthy and tasty snack
These puff crisps are healthy, and are made from black eyed peas. They are a good source of protein and are low calorie. I enjoy snacking on them instead of a regular pack of crisps. The taste is somewhere between peanut and chick peas. They are a little dry but the flavour is very pleasant and a good way to ward of hunger pangs. My 9 year old daughter also enjoys them.
