Fine Table Salt for Table & Cooking, 750 g Drum (Pack of 1)

I picked up this 350g pack of Sea Salt over a week ago, and it's already earning its keep in the kitchen. The salt is fine-grained and dissolves easily - perfect for seasoning vegetables, meat etc. without any grainy texture. What I really like is that it does the basic job reliably. It tastes just right, and because it's so fine I can control how much I add much more precisely than with coarser salts. For everyday cooking and family dinners it's just what you need. At that price point, it's a simple, no-frills, dependable ingredient that I'll keep buying.

It's salt, not much else you can say. For everyday, plain and simple salt for cooking it does the job perfectly. I like to have a nice coarse grind often for my meals if they need a little extra but for normal cooking and recipes this works well and at a decent price.

I only really purchased this because I needed it to mix with a specific mouthwash concoction to disinfect + sterilise my mouth - especially after an operation within that left open wounds in my gums! Also, it's useful for other sterilisation aids, and, of course, to neutralise taste in food... but I don't use salt in food as my daily sodium intake is strictly balanced due to oedema + pitting oedema AND having to use Laxido + Water Tablets (Diuretics), so I need a specific sodium (salt) intake, with adequate levels of electrolytes, which table salt can cause more problems & complications. But, other than that, this is a clean & consistent product, with no apparent 'foreign matter' or inconsistencies/defects. There is a large quantity that will easily last many months, regardless of intended use/s; nice & big container, which is fairly decent value, nothing fancy though & pretty naff packaging/container. It came, as usual, with a layer of salt covering the entire container, due to poor packaging and absolutely NO seal whatsoever, allowing the possibility of contaminants - which salt CAN neutralise, 'mostly' - but I would feel more comfortable with a fully-sealed product with a lid that creates an airtight chamber... Or at least a heat-sealed plastic 'outer' packaging to protect & contain the salt whilst in transit... It was literally just lose in the box with MANY other products, some of which could have completely ruined the salt and created unwanted chemical reactions/bonds... Especially 'IF' it was shipped with the chlorine that leaked EVERYWHERE - as all 6 bottles had caps that were NOT screwed-on/shut, they were just balancing on the top while the extremely potent, concentrated chlorine was leaking into everything and damaging the box! But it was shipped with a lot of different liquid-based products, some detergents, some fabric fresheners, some juices/squash & 12 pea protein milks in invariably weak/FRAGILE cartons that would have great potential to leak into the salt container and become severely saturated/tainted!

Good salt. I use it in making large batches of chilli sauce and it tastes just fine 👍
