Bad Customer Service From Euro Optic
These binoculars are very high quality. The price was good and the delivery was on time. My only complaint was that the owner's manual states to protect the lenses use the eye and tethered lens covers. I never received the eye lens covers. I emailed the company's customer service and haven't received a response. I called the company and could never get through. UPDATE: The authorized dealer (EuroOptics) was not very supportive. I contacted Vortex and they couldn’t be more helpful. They are sending me the missing eye covers at no charge. I love the binoculars. Crystal clear and powerful.

First pair in years. Excited to use birdwatching. :)
So far so good. Tight package. Easy to use. Image is clear. Seems like really good optics and design.

Pretty good glass
Nice class for the price I’m sure they’re better ones but I wouldn’t wanna pay that kind of money. They haven’t no purple haze on the horizon with this glass.

Great views, comfortable
Love these for my bird watching. And looking for mushrooms, and anything else. These fit over the eye well, not like the little lenses that you feel like you have to squint to look into. They are comfortable and easy to use.

I like them
I've had em about a week and, so far, they seem to be exactly what I was expecting. They feel stout, all the mechanisms seem to be tight and the clarity is very good. There might be a slight loss of focus on the outer edge but not enough to bother me and you really have to look for it to find it. As far as chromatic aberration I don't see any or maybe if there is it is so slight that I don't notice it. What I'm trying to say is I can see things very clear and can't see anything that interferes with what I'm looking at. It's that simple. I think in this price range it is a good value. I like the accessories that come with it too. The case is sturdy and well made. The strap is comfortable and well made. The harness is fine too. I probably won't use it much but it's nice to have in case I want to. I can't seem to find anything that would knock off a star.

Amazing quality
Definitely worth the price. You can see crystal clear at least 300 yds! Amazing.

Nice Mid Grade
I really like the Vortex lineup. I have another pair of binoculars, and a spotting scope. All great products. I bought these for a second pair and did not need to buy another top of the line pair. They do everything well. I am a wildlife photographer and do a lot of spotting and watching. I let others look through them and they can't believe the quality. I cannot justify swarovski. I do not make enough money from photography to justify. These cut through the heat waves almost as well. They view deep into the dusk, but not even close to using the spotting scope. I use them often enough to justify the price. They will last a life time. I take care of my equipment and there is almost nothing to wear out. Razor HD is a better pair if you really only need one binocular. Can't go wrong with Vortex. My only complaint for these or any other binocular is the cheap eye cap cover.

Vortex makes great optics. My wife could never use binoculars until she got these.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Excellent optics. If you can't afford Swarovski or Leica or even Steiner, these Vortex Vipers won't let you down.My son has a couple of Vortex binoculars--one is even quite expensive at closer to $2,000.However, these are a great all around binocular. So good that we bought this model for all of our children for Christmas. One of my son's Vortex binoculars had a slight occlusion in one of the optical trains. You could only see it looking back through the lens from the front. He contacted Vortex and their lifetime warranty was honored. He sent them back to Vortex and they sent him a new pair. So, I am giving 5 stars to this model as well as to the Vortex brand as a company that stands behind their warranty.
