The first thing I did to prove accuracy was to boil some water in a pan on the stove and test it. It registered 211.8. I believe the difference between that number and the boiling point of 212 degrees is due to the elevation here which is low, so it seems very accurate. The display is large and bright, so very easy to read. Results were instant. A great value at a low price, and I highly recommend it.

Very good thermometer! I needed to replace my old one which was very inaccurate. This one is so easy to use and seems very durable. I think it's a good value for the price and I love that it's magnetic so I stick it right on my fridge. Can't attest to the battery life as yet or how waterproof it is, but it's very accurate. I used it to check the water for my homemade bread and it read the temp immediately.
