Amazon Basics 13mm Extra Thick NBR Yoga and Exercise Mat with Carrying Strap, Blue

I purchased the Amazon Basics 13mm yoga mat looking for something with good cushioning, and this mat definitely delivers on that front. It's quite thick and provides a very comfortable surface for my yoga practice, especially for poses that put pressure on joints. One of the things I really appreciate is that it lays out flat almost immediately after unrolling, with no annoying curled edges to deal with. The grip is also excellent – it stays firmly in place on my tiled floor throughout my practice, without any slipping or sliding, which is crucial for stability and safety. While the 13mm thickness is very comfortable, it is quite substantial. For most general yoga practices, I think a 6mm or 8mm thickness might be more versatile and easier to carry around. However, if maximum cushioning and comfort are your priority, or if you have specific joint concerns, this 13mm mat is a great option. Overall, it's a good quality, comfortable, and grippy mat, though potential buyers should consider if the 13mm thickness is suitable for their specific needs compared to slightly thinner options.

This mat is good. Width should be more of the mat. Length is good. Thickness is 13mm. Colour is wow although I was doubtful but green looks better now that I have it. Anti-slip it is. Strap should be of better quality. It may break soon. Recommended to buy.

It came with some damages so I returned it. The quality was not looking good or it was a used product. When I ordered another pink mat it was so good with a good thickness and quality. Amazon basics mat is good to buy and thick to use for yoga.

It became too slippery after few days of use . Had a worst fall and ended up with clavicle fracture due to this . Rethink before buying this

Ich habe die Yogamatte nun seit 2023 im Einsatz und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf. Hier meine Eindrücke im Detail: Die Matte wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet. Das Material fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an und hat keinen unangenehmen chemischen Geruch, wie es bei manchen günstigeren Matten der Fall ist. Sie ist rutschfest, was mir besonderes wichtig ist. Mit einer Dicke von 1,3 cm bietet die Matte eine gute Balance zwischen Dämpfung und Stabilität. Ich spüre den Boden bei stehenden Posen gut, ohne dass es unangenehm wird. Auch bei längerem Sitzen oder Knien ist ausreichend Polsterung . Die Matte lässt sich mit einem feuchten Tuch problemlos reinigen. Bisher haben sich keine Flecken oder Abnutzungen gezeigt. Fazit: Insgesamt eine tolle Yogamatte mit gutem Grip, ausreichender Dämpfung und einem hochwertigen Gefühl. Für Anfänger wie auch Fortgeschrittene eine klare Empfehlung. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut

Its long enough for a tall person to fit how a bit slimmer than I'd have liked nonetheless it's a good width. Thick for comfort. Anti slippery base not that effective however good enough unless your floor is polished. Very light.
