When I decided to move from my goatee of nearly 30 years and go to a traditional turn of the century style mustache, I knew I was going to need some thing to keep it managed. From remembering my father with his mustache, I also remembered a very small silver tube in the medicine cabinet. I never really knew what it was, until I saw this product listed on Amazon.I do presentations, lectures and other types of ceremonies on a regular basis. In conducting these, I must be dressed and groomed well as I am representing the words I speak. As such, I want to look my best and demand my mustache steps up in like kind. I knew when I started growing my mustache I would need something that I could depend on during these engagements.When I received the package, memories came flooding back. In applying the silky smooth pomade, the clean, crisp smell solidified those memories and I knew, this was the exact same product my father used decades earlier. The tube is fragile, but with care, you can make sure you don't tear the edges. Application is very easy, spreading a small amount between your thumbs and forefingers. Gently pull through the ends and give wee twist at the tips. Pull down about 3/4" from the end of your mustache, then pull up as you reach the end to achieve the telltale gentleman's curl.Once the product 'cures', try not to touch as it will flake a bit and would need tending to using a tiny bit of water. Even so, it will return to its original state. I purchased this wax based upon a fellow handlebar moustache friend and I am not overly impressed. It holds okay but not as good as my current wax I use called firemans wax. Brothers love is easier to apply and work into stache versus my standard but it does not seem to have the lasting holding power. It also has a stronger scent, sorta musk like, although my wife said is smells medicinal like to her. For long handlebar moustache wearers I may suggest trying this but not a 100% yes for me. This stuff is great. First off, I have a very wiry, thick mustache. I also have a scar on my lip from trying to do a sweet jump on a bike as a kid, but I digress. The scar causes the hair grow in a little wild and my mustache has always been very difficult to control. I have tried the wax types, but they are always such a mess and a pain to use. Who has 10 minutes to run a blow dryer over wax every morning? This comes out of the tube smoothly like tooth paste, it is water based so you can rinse it off easily. The hold is great, completely controls wiry hair. I read some reviews mentioning the odor in a negative fashion. I do not find it to be that strong smelling and the smell is reasonably pleasant. I have blonde hair and use the clear version. It goes on smoothly and does not alter the hair color.

I don't have much experience with mustache waxes so take my review with that grain of salt.I gobbed it in, spread it through the stache with my stache comb and left it alone. It hardened nicely but found a little more than halfway through the day it was non-existent. I don't know if I'm harder on my mustache (i don't even remember touching it) than others but it definitely did not last for me. I will try some of products out there but I will continue using this one for now.

Best for a full handlebar stash. I have had a waxed stash for 40 years and for a long time this was very had to buy in the USA and I would have friends stationed in Germany get it for me . In fact I still have a friend that has moved there get it for me from time to time as it is less than half this price in a Munich shop and it is cheap to mail a dozen tubes. it is expensive but if you apply it properly as you get out of the shower in the morning it will last till bed time... (the USA standard used to be Clubman and I would have to really several times during the day with it) today there are dozens of small outfits making potted waxes but I have never gotten used to using a noted wax so this is it for me.

It is listed as Moustache Wax AND Styling Pomade. Those are two very different things and this is really styling gel. The hold is strong once it sets but it doesn't set fast and left my considerable handlebar flopping over. It also can't be reshaped once it sets. The other issue was the very strong chemical scent. Not pleasant to have that scent right under your nose all day. If one doesn't mind the scent and has a short moustache, this would probably work out. Under no circumstances should this be referred to as wax though, it isn't.

Looks bigger than it is. It looked like a large tube when buying it. But after arriving i found out it was a small (10 ml) tube. Wax seems just as good as other in expensive brands.

I have just started to use mustache wax and didn't have a good experience with the first wax I tried. This wax on the other hand was excellent. What I liked about it is that it does not stay "Sticky". It begins to feel more like a light powder on the stache after a few minutes of drying. After that it feels very natural. And it holds very well also! I ordered a couple other brands so I am now excited to try them all out. Brothers is a good product and I would also purchase it again.I should also say that this product was shipped packed well and in good condition. It also exceeded the description from the seller. I will say again, very nice!!
