I have put this product inside a outside plastic box to protect it from the weather. The only holes what is on the outside plastic box is, power cable going in (back), power cable to light (bottom). This is running my outdoor back garden flood light ( mainly used for when the dogs go out ). My back garden flood light has direct power & I have a light that has a sensor on it but when the dogs are a little to far away from it of course it powers down. OK, really not for the dogs they can see a little better than me but safes me stood outside waving my arms around but also if I walk down the garden I can take the key fob with me & if the light goes off I can easily switch it back on again . So I decided to install this. Press the Key Fob from inside my conservatory (key fob to light - 20ft away) works every time. If the light goes off (senor timer) I just switch it off and back on again. The plastic box isn't that thick so at night i can see a little green light to let me me know that it is powered on by the remote switch. It was so easy to install & if you need to read any instructions for the install they come with it. You get two key fobs, I only use the one for now but if that battery dies or goes faulty I have a back up. Better than rewiring for a switch to be fitted to the light. Great product & with also having to buy a outside protector for it was not a lot of money. I would recommend this product, It's doing a great job.

The range on this is unbelievable. I can easily stand at the back of the house indoors and turn something off 100 meters away outdoors through all those walls. Very easy to wire up if you have even minimal d.i.y skills. I think its good value for money, and functions even better than the instructions state. Very happy with it.

It really works very well, has a fantastic range and is very easy to set up. You will need an external electrical junction box and I'd recommend one 150mm x 110mm like this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08X45H6FM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Another tip is to superglue the wireless remote to the base of the junction box at one end giving you easy access to the connectors. Then all you need to do is connect it between the power supply and the device you want to control and you are good to go. It worked so well I've bought another! The remote controllers look well made and work well from a long way away. One of mine is about 70 yards away. The only reason I knocked off one star for weatherproofing was because you need a junction box to conform with UK standards.

This wireless remote switch replaced a manual switch for garden lighting. I already had an IP65 rated cabinet in the garden accommodating the lighting/pond electrics so it was easy to install the wireless switch. The remote control works really well with very good range. The lights can now be turned on from literally anywhere in the house without needing to go outside. I deducted one star from the rating because there are openings in the switch casing which could possibly allow internal corrosion eventually. Note also that the switch has no earth connections so earth continuity to external light fittings needs to be ensured.

I had nothing to dislike about this product. Absolutely perfect for the job which I wanted to do which was to fit an LED amber warning light for when I am exiting on a blind entrance onto the road. I wanted a remote that I could put on the key fob and this is excellent. It means I can switch it on from the vehicle and switch it off remotely as well. Very easy to set up and very simple to programme. I thought it a bit strange that the live wire is black and the neutral is red. However, I double checked it before installation and the diagram is correct ! I also like the quality of the key fobs. I was expecting poor quality plastic and big but these are small and very well made. I shall probably buy a few more.

Well-packed item, came with two key fobs and instructions, which weren't needed. The fobs were already synched to the device and also had batteries in them already. I've used the device to switch power for outdoor lighting, and it's ideal. The lights and device are all undercover, but I used an IP65 enclosure to be on the safe side. On first test, the device worked right away and from around 25 metres away, which was impressive! The terminals seem well-made, too, and were very secure on the wires using a small screw clamp. The terminals are also covered by a hinged clear/orange flap. All in all, this works perfectly. we chose this for our particular installation because we didn't want a traditional light switch that might have been accessible by neighbours and we didn't want our lights left on by mistake. Using this device allowed us to install all the electrics high up and well above arms reach, and only for our use.

This arrived damaged in so much as one of the retaining holes for the casing had disintegrated. Couldn't be bothered sending it back so fitted it inside my garage and used Araldite to pop the casing ( which is really poor qualty) back on. The remotes seem to be quality though and the switch works a treat.

Only had a day but easy to install, I fitted inside outbuilding and it worked first time fobs already setup and have good range though stone walls .I will probably install in box as contacts only just covered and earth on separate block, but hopefully will last some time

This by far is one of the best little investments for sure fast easy set up I hooked it up to an outside flud lamp for my wife and late visitors it is a sensor light so it came on at dark and stayed on all night so the money saved on electricity will pay for the device in just a few months witch is great. I approve this message great buy.

Problemlose Installation Funktion richtig gut

Très agréablement surpris par cette télécommande qui offre, en plus de sa fiabilité, une grande distance d'efficacité. Achetée depuis maintenant 2 ans, je viens juste de changer les piles alors que je l'utilise quotidiennement. L'ho messo ieri sul autoclave. Funziona bene anche da 15 metri di distanza e attraverso due muri. Ottimo aggeggio, molto comodo.
