This stuff is incredible. Pictured are the baffles for my 22 suppressor. If you’ve shot through a 22 suppressor, you know how crazy dirty they get. I’ve spent hours scraping carbon buildup out of them before. I hadn’t cleaned my suppressor in over a year and I put the baffles and the tube in the solution and let it soak overnight. The next morning I fished them out and sprayed them off in the kitchen sink and they were spotless. I didn’t even open the brushes. These were just clean. I think you’re supposed to get rid of the solution but I just poured it back in the bottle and put the lid on for the next time I need to clean it. Only thing to note is it’s like a solvent tank. It will dry out the outside of a finished suppressor tube so throw a thin layer of CLP on it and wipe it off and you’re good to go.

No I'm not getting paid to write this review, just giving others a heads up. So this stuff does what it's designed to do, it removes carbon and does an excellent job at it. I tested this on my Deadair Sandman S (sealed can) and my Deadair Mask (serviceable can). First off, I soaked my Sandman S. The sealed can that's probably had 1k rounds through it before getting any type of cleaning done. I let it soak in the cleaner for about 36 hours. I did what the proved instructions said and went to wash it out ( it was about 11pm. Could've went with option 2 which was shooting super sonic rounds through it but you get the idea.) Anyhow, the search amounts of carbon being washed out of this can was ridiculous. The bottom of my white sink was covered. Using a light and trying to look inside I could tell it did a lot. Second, the Mask. We all know how absolutely dirty and terrible cleaning any 22 can get. I should've taken pics before the cleaning. I let this can soak for around 18 hours. I'd say I probably shot about 600 rounds through it. Before pulling the can out I noticed that the finish on the beginning of the can had nearly been completed stripped. Now, in the instructions clearly stated prolonged contact may cause discoloring. Jokes on me for letting it sit so long. I figured since the finish on the Sandman s was OK and not phased that the Mask would be ok too. Man was I wrong but I'm not going to penalized them for my ignorance. Anyhow, went to wash the mask out and a large amount of carbon came out of this as well. Disassembled the can, washed off the internals off and it looked like the can was almost never used. The only major area I found a lot of carbon on was the end cap. Which was easily removed. See pics. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend following the instructions for aftermarket finishes with only filling the inside of the can and sealing off the other side. My results are from completely submerged the cans and prolonged soaking time. Ive read reviews of people having issues with the cleaning tube leaking. Luckily I didn't but I'd recommend to fill it with water and let it sit for a bit to see if it leaks before using the cleaner.

Wow this stuff is pretty amazing. I'm writing on my experience with a rimfire can, the Dead Air Mask, which has steel baffles. Right off the bat this stuff is overpriced to clean a rimfire can. Now a sealed can this will absolutely benefit from. I separated the entire suppressor after about 650 rounds and threw it in. The tube needed cleaning so I used the entire bottle that came with it so I could get the liquid level above the tube while it sat on all the baffles. That was probably as mistake. I think if you cleaned the tube separately you can get at least 2 uses of the included bottle. Upon filling it up there was no immediate reaction to the liquid. It slowly turned hazy as it sat there...a slight brown. About 5 hours went by and still looked just brown. THEN I picked it up. The liquid turned completely black with lead and carbon buildup. Whoa.... ok so time to let it sit for 24 hours. I did give it a little shake halfway through to agitate some of the baffles and hopefully knock off more carbon and lead. 24ish hours passed by and I pulled it all out with a magnet. The tube was spotless inside. Not that it was really dirty to begin with but regular CLP and a cloth wouldnt get it. The break through solution did. Perfectly clean. Now onto the baffles. The Mask has stainless baffles and when I wiped them down the inside wiped completely clean. The little vent hole on the side just needed a q-tip. The top of the baffles is a different story. Maybe 75% of the top of the baffles need a pick to push the build up off. There are some baffles where the buildup just will not break apart. My conclusion is that this is a solid cleaner. A must for sealed cans. Blow all the liquid out then blast out the remains with a few rounds. It'll be as good as new. However, I believe this solution really just loosens the carbon/lead, at least on stainless, but loosens it enough to wipe clean. If you compared this to 'dip' dip is superior but the most toxic stuff probably in your house and you need proper PPE to handle it but you get an absolutely spotless set of baffles. Spotless. No work needed. With Breakthrough you get close enough. It will not be perfect but will be acceptable. It for sure knocked off all the carbon on the edges where the baffles connect and line up. That's a must otherwise the can will lock up and you will have to dip it. 4 stars because it's not perfect. Would I recommend? If you have a sealed can this is a must. Rimfire....ehhh I guess if you're not a perfectionist and want something easily disposable. With dip it's literally wipe clean and reassemble. 5 minutes max. Drawback is the most toxic solution in your house and needs to be disposed of properly. Breakthrough, 95% clean with 75% of the baffles needing a pick of more thorough wipe down. Will take at least 30+ minutes.
