Sofie Women's 100% Cashmere Classic Turtleneck Pullover Sweater

The weight of the cashmere is good; not too heavy and not too lightweight. The sizing is true to size and the color is beautiful. Since I wear a tight knit turtleneck top under the sweater, it is not itchy and feels cozy. The length of the sleeves and body are a little long for a petite sized woman and I have to fold up the sleeves to fit right. It would be great if they offered the sweater in petite lengths. One reviewer commented that the sweater didn't pill. The sweater did have some pills after one wearing; however, they are easily removed. I do think that the sweater is of good quality and fairly priced when on sale; but I wouldn't pay the full price for this sweater.

Does not fit like the picture. Very boxy around the waist and short in the sleeves. Also the neck was not snug and tended to lay incorrectly or flop to the side. I ended up returning because I needed longer sleeves but by the time I got that okay the rest of the sweater was way too large. Would be well suited for someone more petite without long arms (I am 5'9 and medium build). The fabric was great and the color was fantastic though. Wish it looked like it did on the model.

If you are looking for a deliciously soft cashmere sweater - this isn't it. For reference, I used to buy cashmere sweaters from J. Crew. It's been awhile but back in the day they sold the softest cashmere... It felt so smooth against the skin and comfortable. Their cashmere was super $$$$.This sweater is similar in feel to Merino wool only somewhat scratchier.I put it on to wear to work this morning and my neck and shoulders are uncomfortable because of the scratchy, poky feel of the sweater. I will probably change into the change I brought with me because I had a feeling this sweater would be too uncomfortable for me.No doubt, there's a range of sensitivity among people. Some will find this sweater fine. I am probably a little on the sensitive side and I don't know if this sweater will work out for me.

You may wonder why I am writing a review about a gift I purchased for my wife.Well, I simply want to comment on the service I received in the process of making this order.I can imagine the volumes of orders you must receive on any given day. And further to that, I placed this order at Christmas time.Yet, when I explained that my wife had had a similar sweater stolen from her in a college residence ( the year we met ), someone took the time to respond, ( Jean Tipper from Customer Service ) She thanked me for sharing the story and hoped that Elizabeth would enjoy her gift. She did. :)And I was very impressed with that personal touch in such a busy world......there you go :)

I got lucky this dropped in price from 100.00 to 41.00 or something like that. I can't find my receipt, but I am wearing the sweater now! First, no yucky colors are bleeding onto my clothes or white under-shirt. Second its keeping me warm in the mountains as I type this. Third I actually found a good buy on a cute turtleneck for me. FYI- ladies I'm a thick curvy (hour-glass) figure so let me tell you, it will compliment you wearing it.

This sweater has sleeves for that body type (not mine) with long, lithe limbs. Although the model has them scootched up, I find they still fall down and way past my fingers. The sleeves are just quite baggy.Other than that, I am enjoying this sweater. The collar is wonderful! Nice and high and stays up. Too often "turtle neck's" seem to skimp on the neck. Not this one. It is cozy.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this sweater because most cashmere sweaters are more expensive. I thought it may not be the best quality, but went ahead and took a chance. I am very pleased that it is a perfect fit and that the quality is excellent. It's a little thinner than some cashmere, which I like because I wear it under a heavier sweater or jacket. The sleeves are not as short as pictured online, at least not on me. In fact, I like the length better than how it is pictured. The feel of the sweater is so comfortable - soft and just right in the shoulders and body.

The sweater is as described. My only comment is that you get what you pay for. This is a very thin cashmere, if that's OK with you. I would appreciate a choice of a 3-ply instead of this 1-ply. The color is fabulous, and I TRULY love the turtleneck. I would order it again!
