We went out of town on vacation for three weeks. I was concerned with the car sitting in the driveway, not being driven. I added this to the back window and it kept the battery fully charged when I came home. It started up perfect strong and maintained the battery very surprised and very happy with this product. It’s not too big and it’s not too small. It’s the perfect size it took up 60% of our Nissan rogue back window I will continue to use this.

This solar battery maintainer saved my battery. I haven’t been driving my car much for the past 3 months, and it’s been mostly parked. A couple times a week I will move my car so it doesn’t get towed, but other than that it is always parked. Apparently not driving drains the battery. It’s been over a month now, and I have not had to jump my car not even once. I still only drive on occasion, but I’m super happy I don’t have to wonder if my car will start when I’m ready to leave. Highly recommend it.

Have used it over the course of a few days while on a vacation. I unfortunately have an IID interlock device on my vehicle for the next several months and it has once killed the battery over a period of just 2 days of non-use. This trickle maintainer seems to have kept that from happening on a 4 day span plugging it into my cigarette lighter. Truck started up without issue. There is a charge indicator light that illuminates green when getting solid sunlight , yellow for partial, and will go dark if not receiving light. It helps create peace of mind on not needing to purchase another battery in the dead of winter or need to pay a “reset” fee on the interlock.Pretty cheap, and simple to use. Happy purchase.

Label seems about accurate, in full sun I can get about 0.39 amps, 17.57 volts so about 6.8 watts. Not sure if that would actually charge a car battery very well but just for testing/fun using a buck converter dropping it down to 5.1 volts (losing also half of the energy in the process) charging small battery packs.

I have a truck with all the bells and whistles. I don't drive it that often. After a week or so the voltage drops to 12.3, which over time, wears that battery down. There were more times where it sat longer and all I got was the dreaded "click". This solved the problem. I have a 2018 Ram Limited and it fits perfectly on the dash and the leg that hold it up goes right into the place I normally put sunglasses. I park under a carport and enough light gets to it to give at least a little current, which for the last few weeks, has been enough to maintain voltage. I have been seeing upper 13 volts in the afternoon. Not sure what the battery starts at in the morning though.

I have an old truck that isn't driven much and has a parasitic draw due to really old wiring. I always have trouble keeping the battery topped off. I would usually use a trickle charger running the line from inside the garage outside to the truck. That is not practical or safe.I decided to check this out and the price point was reasonable to gamble with. The truck sits outside in the sun almost all day. This brought the battery up to a full charge when I couldn't even crank it. It took many days, but then I needed to fire it up and the battery was fully charged. There is an indicator light so you know when it is charging, charged and when it is unable to charge (no sun). It wont work with some of the more common extenders, I think other reviews call that out. It is pretty durable, it has been hit by hail and is in direct sunlight. It was very easy to setup and use.It is compact enough and has a bag for transporting in the vehicle as needed.Note, do not place it inside the vehicle, like the the windshield. The instructions explicitly say not to do that, but people do it and complain that it melts/warps.

Purchased this for charging my riding lawnmower battery, couple of years old, holds a charge but needs a boost every now and then. This solar charger is fantastic! Hooked it up for a couple of hours and mower fired on the first crank. My next test of this item will be on my project car that only gets started once a month or so. I recommend this charger for simplicity and ease of use and waterproof. Quality is very good!
