How adjustable is the mag pouch? I’d like to put it on a Ruger 10/22 M1 but it’s slightly larger

I dont have a 10/22 but the mag pouch fits pretty snug on my M1 Carbine. No adjustment, just pulls over buttstock. Good quality though.

Does this double as a cheek rest?

No, not really. If it's full with two 15rd mags it may touch your cheek but they are offset to one side. On a side note, if you buy it you may want to smooth the rivets.i like this set but it scratched my stock a bit until I dremeled it smooth.
