Yes, in fact, you wouldn't have to remove the tray as the glass top rests on nodules above the frame and there is plenty of room to lay a t-square without touching the tray.

Yes! The plastic trays are easily removable, but they fit into slim wire frames on either side that are bolted securely to the desk (these can also be removed, but must be unscrewed).

Can the storage box on tbe bottom be removed? Dont think my chair will fit with that there.
