It's alright
I think everyone should know that this is a very painful product to use especially in the genital region. It doesn't really grip the hair very well either.

Baby Smooth all over for Weeks!
This epilator works very well, which is way better than a couple of more expensive epilators I've tried and thrown out. I was happy to see it’s still on the maket. I just bought a second Veet after my first one finally died after five years of removing all my body hair every three weeks or so. My wife and I love being totally smooth everywhere, especially in bed. She has a Veet too. Most of my body is 99% permanently hairless now after 7 or 8 years of regular epilation, most of it with the Veet. Until 2 years ago I only epilated from the knees down and the elbows down maybe three times during Florida’s short season of wearing long pants and long sleeve shirts. Two years ago I got brave enough to get permanently hairless everywhere. I’ve still got a thin, sparse hair growth from the knees down and the elbows down, but it’s going fast.My wife and I love that my pubic triangle is now totally hairless, but I do still have a total of maybe 100 stray hairs left on my penis, scrotum, and around my anus. The Veet epilator is very good at plucking these fast. It’s gentle and effective. I've learned how to pull the skin tight with my free hand to avoid painful, bloody pinches down there, but they still occasionally happen. The Veet is good at shutting off fast when it pinches skin to minimize the pain and damage. If you’re getting started epilating, get a full body wax first. That will make the first epilation far less painful. Every time it gets faster and easier with less pain. I’m done now in under 45 minutes with no pain at all now, which is well worth being baby smooth everywhere for weeks. In under 45 minutes now, this epilator plucks all the hairs I still have left and gets me baby smooth everywhere for another two weeks.

Gets easier after the first use.
I like this product. I'm not 100% in love with it but I do like it. It lasts much longer than shaving but it will leave behind a few finer hairs even if you go over the area numerous time. The first time was very difficult and hurt a good deal. My hands were shaking and I was sweating but once you push through that first time every time after that is a breeze. As other reviews state, you should take a hot shower and use a loofa or a similar item to exfoliate before use. I use it on my legs, thighs, armpits and bikini area (definitely sensitive the first time). I do not much care for the spray, it just has a cooling affect. If your uncertain the first time I would consider using something topical like oragel. I did not receive a storage pouch as the details suggest and the item is NOT cordless or rechargeable. My final suggestion is not to use the epilator right before you go out. The first couple of times you will have a little inflammation in the areas of use that appear as little red spots.

I thought I would enjoy this item
I thought I would enjoy this item, but I have course hair and it does not do a good job of removing all of them. I have gone over the same area 10 times and it misses some hair in the end, I just end up shaving. It is good if you have thinner hair, but it does hurt and the spray did not help me. I wished it was better, but it could be worse.

Save for something better...
I've meant to write a review since September but I only remember when I get it to use it. I always used satinelle, I had the same one for 5 years, I would only change the power cord. I didn't find the last time so I had to buy a new epilator, once I was in a short budget I decided to give veet a try. I used it 2x a month for legs and armpits, a little over 4 months its when it started to malfunction. Short thin hair and the machine still not able to grab it (not a problem with satinelle). The motor stops and get stuck when in contact with hair. Not worthy it! Better to spend a little bit more for something that will last! I tried the numbing spray, I didn't really feel any difference...

No case! Doesn't work well on stubble
Disappointed in Veet for falsely advertising a storage case on the box, this one has no bag/case. Also the instructions say it is water resistant for use in the shower NO IT IS NOT, unless you want to be electrocuted. this is not rechargeable so it has to stay plugged in.I've used it once and am quite happy with my result, my legs are smooth.FOR BEST RESULT (for me anyway)(exfoliate in hot shower, epilate when dry, shave fine hairs that are left, and have 1- 2 weeks smooth legs/underarms without shaving and 2-3 weeks smooth legs with quick mid shave,)EDIT:Now that my hair is growing back and at stubble length, this does't seem to be working. (My hair was grown out about 1/8in-1/4in the first time when it worked)This is my first epilator.

Best for the price!
I was skeptical and wary of getting an epilator. I didn't want to get anything too expensive just in case I hated it. I got this one based on the reviews. For the price, you can't beat it. It does the job. I doesn't hurt any worse than waxing. I think the spray does help a little with the pain. But it's nice because after you use it a couple times, you really only need it for maintenance and it becomes easier. Sure beats begging my husband to use the wax strips on me! Only down side is that there doesn't seem to be an easy form of hair disposal, so leg hair goes everywhere. I just place a couple damp paper towels under my leg and dust the hair away as I go. I think I'll shoot for a fancier one someday but for now I am pleased with this one.

Great epilator for a man, but breaks easily
I am a man. This is a great product. I have used several epilators, and this one works better than any of them. Also, it causes less injury to my skin than others I have tried. However, my one caveat is that it breaks down too often. I have to buy a new one just about every two or three months. The gear mechanism that turns the head wears out, and there is no way to repair it. If the gear mechanism were improved, and I did not have to buy a new epilator every couple of months, I would give this item 5 stars. On the other hand, I guess I will keep on buying replacements, since this Veet epilator is so much better than the others I have tried.
