Exactly as I wanted
My twin granddaughters turned 2 the first of December, and this was the perfect Christmas gift for them! I didn't know it existed until my (other) daughter told me about it, her babysitter has one, and the kids love it. The girls were helped by their parents at first, to learn to hold on as not to go flying head first over their hands when they were on top, and they caught on quickly. My other grandchildren ages 4 and 5 like playing on it, but their legs are almost too long to really work well. I am very satisfied with this product, it is made well as I would expect from any Step2 product.

Great toy for indoors or out
This was a big hit at Christmas. Two four year olds and two 1.5 year olds had a blast playing on this. They experimented sitting in different places and figured out that four kids do not fit on there comfortably. Much better for just two at a time as it was intended. For the youngest kids, it's good to use it on carpeted floors in case they forget to hold on. It's a nice compact size and is very sturdy.

Hard to assemble
OMG this was a nightmare to assemble. The instructions show a person simply using a screwdriver to insert the screws. In reality you're going to need to first drill holes into the plastic (there are none) and then screw in the screws.Great teeter totter though.Careful to make sure both children are equal weight. My 3 and 2 year old cannot play on this together yet because the 2 year old is so small that she flips forward and sideways, never touching the ground. If you have an extremely considerate older child, this may work... but my 3 year old is too busy trying to have fun and go fast that the 2 year old just gets hurt.

Lots of fun for inside or outside!
Purchased this for my neighbor's two boys - age 2 and 3. They are having a blast with this. We live in Florida so outside toys are year round, but I could see that this would work fine inside for the colder parts of the country. Seems to be very durable as their mother was playing on it with them too! Low enough to the ground that falling won't hurt but still fun and very easy to put together. I highly recommend this!

not safe for adults
There should be some kind of warning on this death trap. After spending nearly an hour putting this together, my wife and I took it outside for a test run. My wife sat down first and I took the Teeter position to her Totter . I came down on my seat to complete my Teeter stance and my wife was launched over my head and into the gate by the swimming pool. TeeterTotter this is not. Teeter only. Teeter only.

7 - all love this toy
My three kids - ages 3, 5, 7 - all love this toy. It is small enough to be used indoors, but big enough to accommodate all three at once (two on the ends - one perched in the middle). Construction was straightforward and took less than half an hour.We have had a few kids over and I have noticed that kids under 2 1/2 have a hard time balancing on it. I recommend it for ages 2 1/2 and up.

Not worth it
Very small yet goes very high. For the younger kids it's not safe being up so high when they fall off. For the older kids it's not not fun for them being so small. Not a great buy.

The handles offer no security for the child. They're ...
The handles offer no security for the child. They're the wrong height and angle for a small child, and the whole thing is too low and short for a bigger child. Children climb on the middle, whether that's the designer's plan or not, and the middle is convex, and so they fall forward or backward. The ride is short and jerky, but to make it longer would mean it would be less stable. It's stable enough, but should only be used on grass or soft carpet. Spend more on the real seesaw or else take a pass on this category of equipment, as it really is never going to be as safe as playground equipment, which has its own hazards as parents know.
